Your new life...

You awake slowly, your hands raised above your head. Chains bind them to a stone wall, their rattling with your movements informs you of their sturdiness. You begin to open your eyes, but the darkness of the room you are in makes in impossible to see your surroundings for certain. You hear the chittering of mice nearby and attempt once more to move, the sound of the heavy chains clanking causes the mice to scamper away... "Where am I?" You wonder to yourself aloud...

Your voice echoes in the room you are in, showing the size of it even though you cannot see. You ears catch the sound of metal moving and at once your eyes are blinded by light from in front of you as an up til now unseen door swings open. You quickly turn your head to the floor, blinded by the intensity of the light after seeing nothing but darkness for some time...

"Hello there, King of Kadara...." You hear a familiar voice say softly... "I trust you enjoyed my gifts?" Your eyes slowly adjust to see Queen Ravenna standing in front of you, hands on her hips as she stares down at you... "What is the meaning of this?!" You ask angrily, the chains rattling loudly as you attempt to stand... "This my lord is what befits a ruler such as yourself... The rumors of your harshness and cruelty towards your people have been rather true indeed" she says glaring down at you "I know nothing of what you speak!" You respond angrier then before. "Oh really?" She says in a sarcastic tone "Then explain why the people cheered so as the news of your abidication reached them... Why your soldiers so readily laid down their arms and pledged their allegiance to me and the new governor of this town?" You feel shock at the thought that your people would turn on you so... Had you not served them dutifully in your reign? Had you not led them to prosperity? The audacity of these people to betray their king angers your further... "But now you are no longer king, now you are mine and I will see too it that you pay for crimes you have commited... Lilika!" She says calling loudly for an unknow person as she finishes. A tall woman appears by her side "Yes my lady?" She says in a discernably loyal tone. "Take this dog into the **** chambers... It is time to show him the errors of his ways..." Ravenna turns and walks away. The sway of her hips is almost enchanting even in these circumstances.... You are lost in their motion as the unknown woman approaches... *Slap!* Her hand strikes your face hard, stinging as she yells at you "Your eyes are not worthy to look upon my queen!" You move to respond but she swiftly hits you in the stomach, knocking the air out of your lungs amd silencing you. She fiddles with the lock above you as you struggle to breathe before unlocking you. Pulling you towards the door you stumble and fall... "This is where you belong dog..." She says as you lay on the floor in front of her "Crawl behind me dog!" She says firmly as she attaches a leash to your throat... You do as you are told, slowly crawling on your hands and knees behind her as she leads you from the cell...
