Your bathroom tap is leaking again

Stupid tap. Stupid bathroom. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Reluctantly you throw off your covers and... oooh no, They won't get you THAT easily! You almost put your foot outside the bed! That won't do. There is only one way to make sure They can't get you if you have to get out of bed in the middle of the night, and that is to leap off the bed and land outside the Danger Zone.

You have determined through trial and error that the "danger zone" extends four feet away from the darkness under your bed. Don't ask how you tested this, it was a long time ago and you can barely remember. Back then it was a bit more difficult to jump that far but now you are bigger and stronger and it's hardly much more than a long step really.
