What happens next?
You wake up
Groaning, you sit up. Sunlight filters through the trees as you examine your surroundings. You're in the middle of the forest. You attempt to remember what happened last night. Most of its a blur, but you get brief flashes: becoming a wolf, hunting prey, running with the pack... the girl. Hastily, you check yourself. You don't appear to have changed. Relieved, you try explain what happened. It must've been a dream, even though you don't dream, or sleep. In fact, you have never even lost consciousness before. The closest you've ever come is ****, but there were no dreams, only darkness until the next life. Still, it must have been a dream. What else could have it been? It couldn't have really happened, could it? Shaken, you check yourself over again. Everything still seems the same. Then, you see your chest. There is a silver wolf's head just above where your heart would be if you were human. Right where you remember the girl touching your chest. Oh shit. It had happened. It was real.
What to you do now?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
