You settle into your room.

After the party makes a brief detour to a washroom where the sponges, towel and bowl are dropped off the orderly escorts the three of you through the asylum. You pass through a couple of secure barred gates which the orderly unlocks and then locks behind you until you reah a broad wing with metal doors ranged along both sides. Shuttered grilles are currently open on each of the doors and some women's faces look out as they here the slap of your bare feet on the tiled floor and the heavy tread of the orderly's boots behind you.

"Hey Mouse, who's your new girlfriend?" The shouted questions and comments come from both sides as you walk through the wing, "You got a new bitch Sharona?" "Hey Blondie see you at shower time."

You stop several doors down the line and the orderly unlocks and pushes it open. The other two women troop inside and you follow them. The room has four beds and lockers crammed inside, two of the beds are obviously in use whilst a third has it's bedding neatly stacked on top and the fourth is unmade.

"Make yourself at home." The orderly says as he backs out. "Evening meal is in an hour and a half. You'll be on grounds duty tomorrow, Mouse and Sharona can fill you in on the routine."

The door slams and you hear the disheartening sound of a heavy key being turned.

"Cheer up sister." Sharona says. "Ain't so bad really. The food here's better than the pen by a long mark and the rules are a hell of a lot softer. You can even get your ass laid, whether it's guys or chicks that float your boat."

"If you're frightened I could sleep in your bed tonight." Mouse says brightly. "We could cuddle."

"Cuddle?" Sharona laughed. "You let that crazy little thing in your bed and you ain't gonna get much sleep. She'll have her fingers and tongue up you all night long if you let her."

"I'm just friendly." Mouse retorted with a pout. "And you hardly ever kick me out of your bed."

"Hey, I'm only teasing Mouse." Sharona said soothingly. "Just don't pressure the sister is all I'm saying. It's her first night banged up."

The two women help you make your bed up. They chatter away to you as they work and you soon learn parts of their stories. Sharona is a prostitute and petty **** dealer from the worst part of the city. She's been in and out of prison a few times. Mouse is unsurprisingly a bit backward and is sexually obsessed, she's been in and out of institutions for years and actually seems to prefer it in here. You can only nod or make facial expressions to join in the conversation, but the pair seem to be happy to talk.
