Chapter 5

You are waiting for further developments.
You see who exactly will be your opponent...
You see Sergeant Tibbon's evil gaze.
You hear his words, which he says in a mocking tone: "Ulkin Nordane... If you think that being a city guard is an easy way to make money, then now you will have to experience a little disappointment..."
You see the sergeant turn towards the left side of the room.
The sergeant says loudly: “Oakbreaker! Come here, quickly! You will take part in a small welcome, training match! Ha! Ha!”
You see another half-orc walking towards the sergeant. This half-orc is noticeably larger and taller than you. He is dressed in chain mail and has a bandage on his arm with a single black line on a blue background. In his hand is the same mace as yours. On his head is the same helmet as yours. You notice with apprehension that his arm muscles are almost twice as powerful as yours. On the face of this half-orc (in the cheekbones and on the left cheek) you see several star-shaped scars, as if they were marks from arrowheads.
You can only guess why Sergeant Tibbon calls this half-orc by the nickname "Oakbreaker"...
The half-orc guard jumps over the fence and slowly moves towards you...
You are preparing for your enemy's attack... You understand that you need to act carefully... After all, you still do not know what kind of combat techniques you can expect from your opponent...
Meanwhile, a half-orc nicknamed Oakbreaker is approaching you...
Suddenly you felt something very dangerous in the movements of your opponent... He takes steps as if he is now...
A swift dash from your opponent almost knocked your body to the floor...
Your instincts at the last moment **** you to quickly retreat to the left...
You didn’t have time to rejoice at this because your opponent’s mace rushed towards your head with lightning speed...
This time you didn’t have time to dodge... And perhaps the fight would have ended for you at that very second due to the fact that you would have lost consciousness from a powerful blow to your head with a mace...
But you managed to strike a parrying blow with your mace...
Two identical crushing weapons collided with a loud crash... But the physical strength of each of the owners of these two maces was not at all the same... and the difference in strength was not at all in your favor...
Therefore, due to the parry, your body was thrown to the side and your lower back hit the wooden barrier...
You tried to vigilantly monitor every movement of your opponent in order to be able to predict what danger would arise for you in the next second...
Your prediction was not very effective... Because the next second, this half-orc, nicknamed Oakbreaker, swung his mace in your direction and you had already begun to make an evasive movement - when suddenly you received a strong blow from your fist to your right side...
If you weren’t wearing chain mail, you would already be lying on the ground and screaming in pain because of a broken rib...
But thanks to the chain mail, you were only thrown to the side and you dropped to one knee...
You fleetingly thought that the pain from this blow would now be felt for at least a week...
The next moment you realized that unnecessary thoughts are now an unaffordable luxury for you...
Your opponent made a quick movement... He tried to hit your face with his knee...
What's your reaction?
