You saw the bill for the rent

"I saw the bloody rent bill" You tell Emily."oh" she says, realizing what you're talking about. "I had to cover your part Emily" you say, pissed off. "I'm sorry" she says, looking down "It's not the first time either" you remind her. The cute woman in front of you looks like she wants to sink into the ground. You can perfectly afford to pay the rent on your own but Emily did promise to help you pay, and it helps you save up. You've always had a better job than Emily thanks to your family, but she did promise.

"I'm really sorry" Emily says "I'll find some way to pay you back or make it up to you, I promise" she says. She walks over to you and hugs you. "I just had a hard time at the restaurant, and my boss gave me less hours than usual" she explains "It's fine, I can afford it, just please make sure it doesn't happen again" you tell her

She smiles at you and grabs her phone "I'm finding a way to solve this" she tells you.

A few minutes later she returns "I've found something" she says, though not very happily
