Chapter 6 by Trom1806 Trom1806

What will happen to you next?

You react to threats as quickly as possible.

You turn left as quickly as possible. With trained hand movements, you snatch your powerful combat bow and arrow from your quiver.

The bowstring is drawn in a second. Arrow on a bowstring.

You are ready to attack.

But you only see slightly swaying spruce branches from which snow is falling.

And one more thing: there are traces of some kind of animal.

Footprints in the snow.

And these marks are large. Much larger than the tracks of a regular wolf.

You think: Damn! Could this vile beast really manage to sneak up on me unnoticed!? Why didn’t I hear anything?!”

Again, a vague silhouette flashes at the periphery of your vision.

This time on the right.

You turn towards the perceived threat. You are doing this movement to the limit of your physical capabilities.

In a split second, you manage to notice a large silhouette that almost merges with the snowy surface of the earth.

This is a very large animal (its size is about one and a half meters in height - more than twice the size of a regular wolf). This is an animal that has completely white fur.

At the last moment you manage to shoot an arrow at this silhouette. The arrowhead tears off a small piece of fur and skin. There is almost no blood. The arrow is stuck into the trunk of one of the many pine trees that grow in this area.

A threatening roar of the beast reaches your ears, which again managed to hide from your field of vision.

You only caused him a minor injury.

You made him angry.

You think: "I can’t let this wild monster get close to me! It looks like this wolf wanted to ambush me! Damn! Everything is not going according to plan! The wolf is too close!"

As if to confirm your thoughts, the unexpected happens.

A loud, drawn-out wolf howl that makes your blood run cold and your mind filled with images of bone-chilling horror.

You have heard the howls of other wolves many times. It was unpleasant. But you're used to it.

But what you hear now...

This is something much more frightening...

After a couple of seconds, another wolf howl is heard. Again. And again.

But these sounds are not coming from the white-haired wolf you shot at. It's other wolves howling. A lot of them.

You panic and think: “Fucking crap! This bastard is calling the pack! He's not a rabid lone wolf! They’ll just tear me to pieces!”

Something needs to be done urgently.

Otherwise your **** will be predetermined.

Every second counts.

You look around at the trees that surround you. One pine tree is quite large and has thick branches.

You quickly run up to this pine tree and begin to climb this tree. You climb the branches as fast as possible. Snow falls from the branches in your face, but you don't pay attention to it. Pieces of tree bark and pine needles fall down and prick the skin of your hands.

You ignore the inconvenience and continue to climb the tree along the branches.

A minute later you climbed high onto a pine tree. You are sitting on a large branch about four meters above ground level.

You look around the area.

And a moment later you see a pair of gray wolves running out of the bushes. These are regular sized wolves. But if you remained standing on the ground, you would have little chance of repelling the attack of two wolves at once.

Fortunately, you have changed your position. From a height of four meters you shoot with a bow at one of the gray wolves.

The sound of a bowstring.

Swift flight of an arrow.

The wolf's skull is pierced right through. The shaft of the arrow pierced his eye socket. The tip of the arrow pierced the bone of the wolf's skull. The beast let out a furious howl and was thrown towards the bushes. The body twitches in convulsions.

The wolf's blood spreads across the snow.

A beautiful sight.

Scarlet on white.

You quickly pull a new arrow from your quiver and you put the arrow on a bow string again.

The second wolf bared his fangs furiously and runs up to the pine tree that you managed to climb.

This is the last thing this wolf managed to do in his life.

Having taken good aim, you release the arrow from the bowstring.

The steel arrowhead pierces the gray wolf's body in the neck area. Steel pierces flesh. The spine and spinal cord are probably affected.

The wolf falls into the snow and twitches in convulsions. This is agony.

New polyphonic wolf howl.

Three new gray wolves jump out of the bushes on three sides.

You scream in rage: “Fucking shit eaters! I'll shoot you all! You decided to try to devour Raul the Wolfkiller himself! That’s why you’ll all die, you woolly scum!”

Bared wolf mouths. An animal roar, in which an **** degree of hatred is felt. Sharp fangs that want to tear your body into small pieces. Wolf eyes, looking into which you see the reflection of a wild primitive desire - the desire for saturation... These animal glances seem to tell you: “You are just meat... Juicy, tasty, bloody meat... We will tear your body and eat every piece of your bloody flesh until you you will squeal in pain and horror like a pig..."

You **** yourself to disengage from the fear that is trying to take over your mind.

You continue to shoot with your bow.

Shot!

Another one!

Third shot!

One of the gray wolves managed to jump to the side. The arrow pierced the snow at a distance of ten centimeters from the wolf's muzzle.

However, you still can’t envy this wolf.

Your second arrow pierced his left side.

Blood splashed onto the snow.

Your third arrow interrupted the torment of this beast. The tip of the arrow stuck into the wolf's muzzle. The steel pierced deep into the wolf's flesh. The wolf fell into the snow. No convulsions. Just another corpse.

What will happen next?
