You put off further discussion for now and enjoy the trip.
You decide to focus on having fun for awhile and try to ignore the strange and complicated situation you're all in. Surprisingly, you are able to mostly ignore the body switch for the next several days and just enjoy your honeymoon.
The three of you spend alot of time at the pool and on the beach. It does feel weird to you as you watch Jackie in your mom's body sunbathing, especially with her body nearby. You catch yourself staring at your mom with longing, admiring Jackie's attractive form in her very revealing bikini. You hide your reaction and try to stop staring, not wanting to cause Jackie any more distress.
Sometimes you're able to look past your mother's body and see Jackie as your wife. But it's hard when you're on the beach and she's parading around in your mother's swimsuit. It's a difficult mental adjustment, but you eventually admit that her body is still very eyecatching. She has some wrinkles and age spots, and her shape isn't as tight as Jackie's - but she is rather hot for a 50 year old woman.

Today is your wedding day - you are marrying Jackie (Jacqueline) Driscoll, a beautiful woman you've dated since college. Due to an accident with a mysterious wedding gift, Jackie switches bodies with another member of the wedding party shortly before the wedding. The three of you decide to keep the swap secret and go through with the ceremony and honeymoon, hoping to find a way to reverse the transformation later. Themes: Throughout the story the characters will have to deal with the ramifications of the swap. Can Gerry and Jackie carry on their relationship secretly, hiding the swap from everyone else. How will they handle the honeymoon? The early days of the marriage? How will the person in Jackie's body handle this? What about Gerry & Jackie's hopes to quickly have a child? One aspect of the transformation makes the victims comfortable in their new bodies, i.e. they won't go crazy at the shock of the change. I leave it up to the individual author whether or not they gain anything else from the switch (access to skills, memories, knowledge, personality traits, etc.).
