You pay with kisses

“Alright, you greedy little minx,” you laugh, “get over here.”

Luna smiles happy and comes closer to you. You reach out, take her cheek in your hand and pull her closer. As soon as your faces meet you start kissing. Since you found out she has feelings for you, you basically pay her with kisses, belly rubs and hugs for every minor thing she does for you. You are sure wouldn’t demand this, but you like her too, so you don’t mind to pay her that way.

“Thank you, honey,” Luna replies happy, “but this was a little much. I need to pay you back.”

“Keep the change or I might get too late for my mission,” you reply and pet her head, “Luna I … would like to talk with you about Omboran as soon as I am back.”

“Ah, I see,” Luna mumbles interested, “I get the feeling I know what this is about. Well, I think this was just a matter of time. Don’t worry, honey. We will sort this out as soon as possible. But now go. Before you get in trouble with someone else then me.”

You nod gratefully for her understanding and get dressed. You are glad to have such an understanding friend and lover. When she says things will work out, you somehow believe her. And you really hope you can sort things out with Omboran without hurting his or Luna’s feelings.

On your way to the entrance hall of the guild you meet some other students. A few of them greet you, but none of them seems to be really interested in what you are currently doing. In the entrance hall you see three waiting people who want to speak with somebody from the guild and Raka is also behind her desk like always. You are impressed her bad working moral, constant teasing and backtalking to the director didn’t lead to her getting fired already. However, you somehow like her. And she likes the fact that you are not annoying and never try to give her orders.

“Hi Raka,” you greet the typically bored dark mage, “I am ready for my next mission. Is my superior already here?”

“Good to see you, little one,” Raka replies and smiles slightly, “you will help Tokar Usarius on his mission. A noble fire mage from the northern border. He is over there and waits. Sad that he leaves now. he was the only visitor today that did not annoy me.”

“Thank you,” you say gratefully and walk over to Tocar.

Tocar Usarius is, like most people from the cold north, a tall man with a long brown beard. However, his bears is styled and his robe is decorated with his families coat of arms, a roaring bear head.

“Greetings, sir,” you greet the mage cheerfully, “I am here to assist you in your mission for the guild.”

“You are Clare?” Tocar asks interested and looks at you, “good. Very good. And you are perfectly in time. This is not your first mission as an assistant, so I assume everything should go smooth. But just to be on the save side, let us go through the mission before heading out.”
