You manage to trap her

As you and Sally rush through the village, you encounter few resistance. Most of the people here are simple villagers, not fighters.
You do meet a few militia here and there. People with moderate combat training and makeshift armor. It makes you sick to think you caused the pirates to attack these innocents.

Eventually you see a the village stables, as well as a chance to get rid of Sally.
“Look.” You say to Sally as you point at one of the houses. “I saw one of the merchants enter that house.”
Sally licks her lips and says “Wherever a merchant goes, thar’s plunder to be had.”
She then rushes towards the building and enters the house.
Instead of following her inside, you close the door. You quickly grab a long wooden stick, place it behind the door handle and twist it so it blocks the door. It won’t keep her for long, but long enough for you to do your thing. You then hurry to the stables.

Upon entering the stables, you a couple of horses. All of the horses are unsaddled, except for one in the back.
One of the villagers was in the process of saddling a brown thoroughbred. Probably with the intention to ride out and warn the officials at Gerlangen about this pirate attack.
You sneak up on this guy and punch him in the back of the head. You had never been able to knock anyone out cold with a simple punch before. But thanks to the metal gauntlets sister Gabrielle gave you, this guy is downed in one hit.
You finish saddling the horse and ride out.
