What exactly are these affection points, you wonder?

Jenna’s and Tom's conversation disrupts your probing of the app.

“Hey, I just want to say sorry for not picking ya,” You overhear Tom say below you. "It was a really difficult decision."

The acoustics in this place was great. It’s like this place was designed to carry voices and have other people eavesdrop on conversations.

“It’s alright. Is Paige your type of girl?” Jenna asks.

“You're both extremely fine, I’m not going lie. It was a 50/50 decision in the end, and I went with my gut. But I just want you to know it’s early days, so nothing set in stone with Paige and me,” Tom says.

“What about you. Am I your type of guy?” Tom adds later, smiling confidently.

You glance down and can see Jenna nod. Somehow this scene sort of plays out over and over again for you. That out of league girl getting along with some other guy.

You decide to go back in and lie on the bed and just browse on the phone. Without looking, you press the Unlock button on the mystery item on your phone as you get in bed and can hear a video play on the phone lying under your hand where you pressed it.

You pick up the phone, and a video plays in the Affection Multiplier App.

It shows Tom talking to Paige.

“I’m so glad you picked me,” Paige said.

The two were in hammocks talking to each other.

“Without a doubt. Of course, I had to pick you,” Tom said. “When I walked in, I was like Oh… man. She’s totally my type.”

“Is there any other girl you would have picked beside me,” Paige asks.

“Nah. I was shook when I saw you honestly,” Tom replies.

“I saw Jenna checking you out. She looked like she was going to cry when you didn’t pick her,” Paige says, smiling.

“Really? Hmm,” You see Tom ponderous thinking to himself.

“I think she just wanted you to save her from that guy she was with,” Paige says.

“Ya, I saw that. What’s that dude doing here anyway? I mean, he seems nice and all but not all like… you know,” Tom says.

“No clue. Probably a producer's son or something.”

The video ends there. You grimace. Why was I being shown this? What’s going on with this app exactly? Are the producers trying to help me out or lead me in a direction? You see Affection Points - 125 in a corner, and then suddenly it winds down and is deducted 5 to 120 Points.

You click on the “Affection Points – 120” icon, and another window opens up. It shows “The Affection Multiplier Shop.”

“Welcome to Affection Multiplier Shop. Here you can purchase tools to help you gain affection.”

Again you see a lot of blacked-out icons with question marks on it. You click on one, and it shows: “You have not unlocked this perk yet.”

You slide the menu back up through the list of blacked-out icons until you see a few that are revealed and available. An icon of a flexing muscle and a dumbbell shows up, and you click on it.

“Training Up: Increases the Rate in Which You Build Muscle and Lose Fat” – 20 Points

What the heck?

Another icon shows a box package. You click on it to reveal more information.

“Swimsuit Appeal: Your Package Will Appear Much Larger To Other People” – 20 Points

You laugh. What is this shit?

Out of curiosity, you decide to unlock the previous Training Up perk. Your profile picture opens up again, and the Training Up Perk icon is shown in the bottom with room for more. 20 Points were deducted from your 120 points, giving you 100 points.

You wander around the villa looking for the gym, feeling silly for believing an app can make you train better. There was an outdoor gym to the left of the outside kitchen and grill and you head in.

You spend an hour at the gym working out and exercising. At the end of it, you feel better and notice your facial and body features appear finer and sharper somehow in the gym's mirror. It was only an hour. Just your imagination?

A booming female shout interrupted your mirror examination.

“I GOT A TEXT!”
