You listen to the second lecture!

You missed the little introduction, but luckily for you, the story's only just starting! It's another one about just how much we can never underestimate the monsters of this land.{if LectureListen1 == False} At least, you think it's another one, but you can't really be sure.{endif} It goes a little bit like this:

The town that would go on to become the city of Kokkinport was the first settlement set up by humans, but it super wasn't the only one. There's been a ton of missions to expand city borders before, like what Bridget was talking about earlier, but in the beginning there were also a number of other towns set up by the subordinates of Captain Purcrux{if LectureListen1 == False} -- the captain of the expedition{endif}. All of them were destroyed or taken over by monsters -- or were close enough to Kokkinport that they eventually merged with it. Kokkinport probably would have fallen too, if there wasn't a powerful leader like Sara Purcrux running the show over there!

One of the towns that got taken over was named Horrouce, and was overseen by Third Lieutenant Mason Martinez. Mason wasn't a noble, like Captain Purcrux was, but he'd spent his entire life working hard to earn his position. He was focused, dedicated, a skilled leader and a talented combatant. You'd expect no less for someone hand-picked by Captain Purcrux! His troop of explorers were protected by his six-strong all-female guard, which with him made up the full population of Horrouce. But despite all of this, the unimaginable happened, and Horrouce fell.....
