What's next?
You leave with Jennifer
After turning the corner, you looked back at Jennifer who was walking next to you, her arm wrapped around yours, and her steps were in sync with you. To the casual observer, it would not be a stretch to think that the two of you were going out, especially if they saw how she acted with you compared to everyone else. She didn't even seem to care about the looks that the two of you were getting as she kept talking with you and looking at you, completely oblivious to everyone else. Man, how the rumor mill would get on this one was something you both dreaded and secretly looked forward to.
It was still only 1 p.m. as you found yourself being led towards the doors to the senior parking lot. "Um..Jennif...?"
"Since when did you start calling me 'Jennifer'?" She looked at you until you corrected yourself.
"Um..Jenni? We still have classes..."
She seemed to contemplate it for the briefest of moments before she continued to march the two of you to the doors and out, seemingly ending that conversation. "I know, but shit...after all of that, I can't focus. I don't even want to know how you are able to try." The two of you fell into a bit of silence as you reached your blue Fiesta and she paused for a moment. "Listen...Tim?"
You blinked at the mention of your name and you turned to look at her. "Sorry..."
"Don't be. I don't think you should be alone tonight...not after seeing this. Why don't you give me a call? I'll gladly come over and keep you company." She flushed a bit at what she was saying but before you could do anything, turned and walked over to her car and you watched her drive off. With that, you opened the door and flung your bag onto the seat before you took off (and just before the security guard could make sense of what was happening). It made you pissed, reliving every conversation the two of you had together, with and without Randall, since the accident. Hell, you were even thinking about Randall AND the accident, the stunned look on Randall's face when he saw what was happening made you pause on the simple fact that the two of them were spending a lot of time together at school without you...how much did Randall know? DID Randall know?
Randall, of all the people in your life at the moment, had pissed and hurt you the most. Sure, he was still something of your best friend...but he was also in the body of the hottest woman in the county and the fact was...HE KNEW IT. He used his body, and your attraction to it, to seduce you, bait you, trapped you, and then left you hanging at the drop of a hat for someone else. You knew it wouldn't be possible to maintain the same level of "bros before hoes" now that he was, in fact, one of them and not one of us. Still, did he have to play you like that?
It was easier, way easier, to dismiss Allison right out of your life. As far as you were concerned, there was only one place that such a whore belonged and it sure wasn't on the sidewalk. Still, as you pulled into your driveway, you were sure of two certainties in your life right now. First, for better or worse, you needed to set your shit with Randall straight. That was a given.
The second? Your parents were waiting for you at the door. There was only one real reason for that look on their faces. "Shit..."

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
