You investigate

Knowing that you have no idea when Nebula would be coming back, and not wanting to risk ringing the dinner bell for the creature, you steeled your nerves as you grabbed the dart gun and camera before slowly climbing out of the car. Leaving the door open, you carefully make your way towards the former window of the shop front, your ears assaulted by the various frightened animals in the store as the moonlight illuminated your surroundings.

Dogs ranging from chihuahuas and Yorkies to pit bulls and mastiffs cowered in their kennels as they barked defensively.

Cats hissed and yowled fearfully as backed into the corners of their cages.

Macaws and cockatoos screeched, squawked, and flapped their wings in fear, one parrot even repeatedly shouting "Bad Dog!", while canaries and finches sang alarm calls.

Rabbits, ferrets, mice, and hamsters hid in their little plastic igloos while tortoises hid in their shells and fish swam behind their tank decorations.

Even the snakes and tarantulas seemed terrified, with the formers trying to brake out of their terrariums or coiling up defensively, and the latters either baring their fangs or hiding under the small logs in their's.

You were starting to double think this when you heard the sound of something eating on on of the aisles. Something big. Gulping, you slowly make your way towards one of the many pet food aisles, thankful that the frightened animals are masking your footsteps. Stopping just before the dog food aisle, you freeze as you hear the sounds of crunching accompanying the sound of your heartbeat racing in your ears. Slowly, you gulp as you peeked out from around the corner.

And there, tearing through and devouring a bag of dry dog food, was the beast. It was almost a comical sight if not for the fact said raven-furred wolf was the size of a Siberian tiger. Apart from that, it looked no different than any other wolf with only one other exception: While the back legs looked like a normal canine's, the front legs looked more like long, muscular, hairy arms complete with hands that ended in five clawed fingers. You had marathoned enough werewolf movies with Alexandra to know that this looked like some cross between the one in American Werewolf in London and the ones in Wolfen. Your blood ran cold. This was an actual. Freaking. Werewolf!

And then something happened that made your heart stop.

The wolf suddenly stopped eating, lifting it's head as it sniffed the air and it's ear twitched. The werewolf looked over it's shoulder and stared directly at you with a pair of glowing, yet familiar blue eyes that gave you a familiar glare.

"L-l-l-l-Luna?" You stammered, shaking fearfully as you finally connected the dots and your neighbor turned her entire body towards you with a snarl.

Luna howled loudly, the wolf's vocals echoing through the store and silencing the animals. That was your cue to leave! You turned to run, only to find that your shirt had gotten snagged on one of the shelves, and as you tried to remove it, Luna let's out a animalistic and primal roar as she bounds forward, standing in front of you in a single jump. You scream as, in desperation, you grab one of the rawhide bones on the shelf and hit your neighbor over the head, briefly stunning her as it snaps in two.

This just barely gives you enough time to remove your shirt as you run off, **** to return to Nebula's car. Just as you get to the window, however, Luna leaps out and lands on all fours in front of you, crouching down as she roars and snarls. You scream and run again, this time running towards the fire exit, when Luna reaches out and grabs your pants leg, ripping them off with her freakish hand before giving chase to you on all fours.

Now running away in just your boxers, shoes, and socks, you desperately knock over several displays in an attempt to trip the werewolf up. Unfortunately, Luna either dodges them or jumps over them as she chases you towards the back of the store. Freezing in place in front of a backroom dedicated to pet grooming, you see Luna slow down and crawl towards you, getting ready to pounce.

Looking between the werewolf and the pane of glass, you get an idea that you hope will work. "Sorry, Luna."

Luna sprang forward with a roar just as you dodged out of the way, the werewolf crashing through the window and colliding with the grooming table, the two tumbling to the ground as you made your escape. Once at the fire exit, you push the door open and slam it behind you, panting heavily as you press your back to the door.

"Fuck this! I'm going home!" You shout as you ran off. Thankfully, the pet store wasn't far away from where you lived, so you didn't care about being seen in your underwear. Nebula and Alena had been right. Your neighbor was an honest to God werewolf!

And she almost killed you!

That didn't matter right now though. What did matter was that you had to get back home, sneak back into your bedroom window and hopefully not wake up your parents, wait for Monday, and then confront Luna about -

A loud roar brings you out of your thoughts as a blur rams into you and knocks you into the bushes. Looking up, you're horrified to see Luna roaring into your face.

"So, this is how I die?" You whisper as Luna brings her jaws down and your world goes black.

The sounds of chirping birds wakes you on Saturday morning, causing you to groan as you sit up and rub your aching head. You feel like you got hit by a truck. Wait, was last night all a dream?

"Ugh! My head..." You groan as you smack your lips. Strangely, you taste a weird taste on your tongue, but shrug it off. "What happened last night...?"

You open your eyes and look around, freezing as your eyes widen in horror. You're completely naked outside! Looking to your left, you let out a squeak as you see Luna, now a human again, groan as she begins to stir, just as equally as naked as you are.

Luna's eyes begin to flutter open as she sits up, smaking her lips as she looks around. "Ugh! Not again." She groaned, rubbing her head... Before turning to see your shocked and horrified expression, a surprised expression coming to her own face as she slowly covered her breasts and crossed her legs. "Okay, I can explain this..."

"You're a werewolf!" You exclaimed, "Wait! Where even are we right now?!"
