You have a daughter

We arrive at the restaurant pretty early on and sit at the same booth we used to when we were in school. After a few minutes of small talk and eating I finally ask.

"So why do you want to talk to me now it's been a full year since we broke up with no contact"

"Because I still love you and honestly I was scared how you would react ... "

"React to what?"

"Well it's been a full year and right now a little girl is spending time with her grandparents... Your parents...."

"I'm a dad and you were scared of telling me... Cali " I hold my head in my hands "your dumb of course I will love and support her "

"Then..."

"Come home you idiot " I say before pulling her into a passionate kiss

We then return to small talk for a bit before eventually getting ready to leave and once we get home I kiss her before going back inside
