You go to the forest

No, you are not going to be a slave for the rest of your life. That is simply not an option.

You turn to the forest, and begin to march towards the trees. It only takes a couple minutes to get there. You decide you should go as deep as possible in order to avoid any pursuers. Due to the terrain you have to take your steps carefully, but ultimately you find things double.

As you move forward, you see some sort of creature heading towards you. It looks like a squirrel, but it is larger, and has an exceptionally sharp set of teeth that could easily tear your flesh open. You don’t think yourself in a particularly harmful position. Yet the creature feels threatened by your presence. And instead of going away, it begins to prepare for an attack.
