Anything happen or it's straight to dinner?

You go pick her up

At 7.55 pm, you get down from the car, wearing a white shirt paired with a navy blue suit, carrying a bouquet of roses of different colors. It is interesting how you can turn rags into shirts and suits, and a drawing paper into a bouquet of flowers, using the Rulebook.

The porch light flicks open, illuminating the archway. Then the door opens, and there she is, Ms Chai, wearing a cheongsam. The smile that she has on her face, is the same one that causes you to harbor a crush on her. Despite feeling nervous, you walk toward her, regretting not making yourself courageous first before coming.

"Hey," you say when you're close enough.

She giggle. "Hey to you too John." She then steps onto the porch, and gestures to the bouquet of flowers. "Twelve, red, pink, and white. Wow, that's kind a strong message there?"

You don't understand what she's talking about, and so you nod. "Only the best for the best." You sound cheesy, but after seeing her happy expression, you don't really care about sounding cheesy.

"They're perfect, thank you," she said, taking them. "Let me put them in the water." She disappears into the house for two minutes before reappearing. "Where is your car?"

You point toward the said car.

"A limo?" Ms Chai turns toward you. "How?"

"Something like bean-counting contest, but jelly-beans instead."

"Oh, that is a rarity, someone reading, more so a book from the Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators series."

You quickly move in to open the door and hold it out to her. "Let's go, Mademoiselle."."

"Siew Chew is okay. The school's over," and Ms Chai blushes a bit. "We're on a date, right now."
