You fight for it

"Doubt it," you say.

"Then you shall face the wrath of Oka Raz'vak," the brute says, and he draws two curved blades from the holsters on his back.

What surprises you that he doesn't charge you (or just throw the blades in your chests), instead he starts to zigzag all over the hall, sometimes as fast as your eyes could barely follow. But that doesn't mean he scares you! With a small movement of your hand, you get an impact grenade at the ready, then at the right moment you let it go, throwing it to the alien's face, the poor fellow blown to small bits in front of you. After that, his goons are next, gunned down in quick succession thanks to your superior skills.

With that, the fight is over. You send the signal to the Caregiver, and the cavalry arrives an hour later, in the form of six additional pirate vessels, their crews eager to clear the area. As expected: by that time the alien ship had fled, lost to you forever, together with the women held captive onboard.

"Mission failed, my dears. However we are tankful that you took down their leader," the Caregiver says. You are about to say that it was still worth it. But then your glance falls on a collar, dangling from a large bag at the back of one of the guards who accompany him.

"What will happen to these women?" you ask.

"What do you think will happen?" he shrugs. "Once they received the nanobots, they will cherish their new place in society. Due to the trauma they suffered, they would be unable to return to their old lives anyways. In a sense, you can consider this as an act of mercy."

"You are a bastard," you answer.

"Well, you can always join them if you'd like," he answers.
