You explain the game to Kim

“So what do you think I should say?” you ask Carrie. “Should I tell her everything?”

“Why not? She’ll probably get a kick out of it. Maybe not all the details, but tell her rules and give her the headlines,” says Carrie.

“Including your sexcapades?” Now it’s your turn to grin at Carrie.

“Sure. I’m comfortable with that.”

The food arrives and Carrie starts to eat her vegan noodles. You tap out a response to Kim on your phone. It takes you about five minutes and you look it over before you hit send. As you look at the screen you can see that it’s already been opened.

You start to eat your lunch. What will Kim make of the game? you think to yourself.

After a couple of minutes your phone beeps and you read the new message.

“She’s asking for your WhatsApp details. Should I give them to her?” you ask.

“Why not?” say Carrie.

You type them in and hit send again.

Carrie’s phone beeps. She picks up her phone and reads the message.

“Look,” she says showing you the message.

Unknown number: Hey Carrie, your boyfriend gave me your number. I’d love to see that video he mentioned. Would you share it with me? I promise I’ll keep it to myself.

You look at Carrie. “It’s up to you babes,” you say to her.

You can see her thinking it over. Then she takes out the coin and tosses it, this time letting it land on the table noisily.

“Heads,” she says. “Let’s see what Kim makes of this.”

She picks up her phone and with a few clicks attached the file Antoine had sent her and presses send.

“She’s opened it,” she tells you. “Bet she has her hand in her panties already!”
