"Squirtle! Use tail whip!" Squirtle dashes forward. Eager to lower charmanders defences.

"Get in there and scratch him up charmander. Show you are stronger! You can do it!" Charmander dashes forward at the sound of your voice, clearly eager to win and prove Gary wrong. The two make contact and while charmander connected and scratched up squirtle, he also got him by the tail. Just superficial damage but it left him slightly sore and providing an easy spot to do damage on.

"Come on squirtle. Now lets start taking them down. Use tackle!" Gary was yelling now. So sure of himself that he was openly leering at your chest.

"Keep sreaming Gary its never going to happen! Come on Charmander keep scratching squirtle! Dont let up for a moment!"

Charmander was practically riding squirtle's shell while scratching at squirtle's unprotected arms and legs. He knew he couldn't let him go or he would have room to tackle him. He was just fine with this up close and personal fighting though.

"Ughh squirtle, you better get your butt in gear and shake him off. If you loose you can forget about extra food tonight. In fact forget dinner all together. Loosers dont deserve to eat!" Gary was shouting so hard spit was begining to fly from his mouth. The fight was not going in his favor and he knew it. If this kept up he would loose and he knew it.

"Come on charmander keep it up! You got this in the bag!" I was clapping now as charmander kept cratching and clawing until eventually squirtle fell down. Unable to withstand the continuous scratching and weight of charmander on top of him.

"Way to go buddy! Come here!" You congratulate charmander with a big hug and kiss his forehead. "That's for defending my honor my brave little charmander!"

"Return squirtle!" Gary held out the pokeball as dquirtle was sucked inside vanishing into the red light. "Fucking weak turtle. You will pay for this." Take your money and go you fucking bitch." He threw $80 down at my feet and began to walk away.

"No you can't get off the hook that easily. Apologize to me and to charmander. In addition ypu owe me one favor of my choice. Those were the terms of the deal." I pointed out. Forcing him to stop.

" Sorry that you are the pet of an uppidty bitch like leaf. Have a nice life you dumb broad!"

And with that Gary left leaving the two all alone.

"Super proud of you boy. You were awesome. Ready to get going on our trip?" I asked him as I gazed down at him, even though I already knew the response.

"Char! Char char char!" With a wag of his tail he began following me as we stepped foot onto route 1.
