Victory will be yours although it won't come easily, the Centurion's defenses seem impervious. Neither spell nor claw can get past his shield, furthermore, your every attack is quickly followed by his counterattack. Luckily for you, your height means you tower over him, so most of his blows land on your chitinous lower half. The hits that land higher are painful but not life-threatening. However, as the battle goes on you grow more and more irritated. You are bigger and stronger than him so this shouldn't be so hard.
You decide to change tactics. You cast a massive push-based spell sprint toward the downed imperial female and grab her by her throat. You hiss at the man, "Drop your weapon or I'll crush her like a newborn baby." He lowers his shield, poorly hiding his distress."You bitch! You will kill her anyway." You scowl at that and say, "No, you have my word. If you drop your weapons I'll let her live." It takes almost every fiber of your being not to laugh. She will be alive alright, you think to yourself. Alive, with her womb full of my young. "Your Word!" the man exclaims. "You have no honor! How do I know you will keep your word?" You ponder for a moment. "You don't, but you won't risk it anyway."
The Centurion's face turns hard for a moment like he might try something. You tighten your grip causing Theodora to start gasping. "Alright, alright! Fine, don't hurt her." He drops his sword to the ground with a clang. You narrow your eyes and hiss out, "Your damned shield too." He scowls and drops his shield to the ground. You smile sadistically at him and drop the woman. Before he can react, you cross the distance in nanoseconds plunge your arm through his chest, and lift him off the ground. You pull him closer to your face to sneer at him but to your surprise, he looks at you and smiles. You scrunch up your brows in confusion at him. You open your mouth to ask what he is smiling about but you suddenly gasp in pain. You feel a sharp pain in your ribs and you look down to see a dagger sticking into your side. "Got you...bitch.." he whispers with his last ragged breath and goes limp. Hysterically, you fling his lifeless body across the room, and panicking you screech out, "No no no NOO! I can't die! Not me! I'm..I'm the Queen..! The future..." Your face goes pale as you see the blood oozing out of your wound rapidly. You look around the room, thinking you are about to die (you are not, but you don't know that yet) "That sneaky Bastard! How dare he...", you say to yourself. Suddenly you hear a whimper and you look up to see that the gnome is still alive. "GNOME!" You shout and point at her and ask, "You are a priestess, correct?" She whimpers and starts to cry a little. You don't mean to scare her, but you think you are running out of time. You ask in a less angry tone, "Do you wish to live?" She looks shocked for a second, but recovers rather quickly and violently nods her head up and down. You assume that means yes and continue. "Good, then I'll let you down. Heal my wounds and if you try anything! You will be fed to my younglings." She nods her head again and whimpers, "Yes, m-mam." You nod at her and reach up and untie the rope that ties her to that dreadful dwarf. You gently put the small girl down and she begins to chant words of healing on your wounds. A bright light shines on it and you begin to feel warmness around the wound and it feels very good, but you don't have time to think about that now. You have work that needs to be done. It won't be long before the other females awaken and they MUST be properly restrained. You need to cast some sealing runes on the elf mage to lock away her magical mana and the imperial is very strong, so she will need a lot of work to restrain her (aka lots and lots of webs) and for some odd reason you want to pay your respects to the one they call 'Centurion'. There is A LOT of work that needs to be done and not a lot of time to spare. And of course, there is the gnome. The GNOME! An idea pops into your head. You turn to her and gently, well as gently as can, ask"Would you like to be free?" Surprisingly she very softly said, "Yes m-mam, yes I would." You smile and say to her, "Then I have an offer for you: serve me as my aid willingly and when I have no need of you any longer, I will let you go." She smiles hopefully, but cautiously asks, "Really, mam?" You reply with a smile on your face, "Yes, little gnome." Of course, though, you have NO intention of letting her go anytime soon, but she doesn't need to know that. Plus you could use the help.
