You discover a reset button and hit it

That night you struggled to sleep, you just cuoldnt find a comfortable position, and your hair kept getting in your face. So you sat up in bed and inspected the remote, turning it over a few times in your hands. It was at this point you found a hidden panel, which you slid off to reveal a reset button.

You pondered this for a while. Should you press it, and if you pressed it without Rebecca touching the remote, what would happen.

You took out a coin and flipped it. Tails. You would press the button now and see what would happen in the morning. Holding the remote firmly, you gently pressed the button. You felt a fizz of electricity and you blacked out.
