The field of applicants this year is just too competitive! You deny the girl from entry into your program.

The girl and her mother begin to openly sob. They join each other in a sticky embrace at your feet. Her father shakes his head and stares at you in horror. He babbles to himself in confusion. You encourage him to comfort his daughter and wife. With any luck, he might be able to save enough to pay the fees for one of her younger sisters to attempt entry into the program in a few years. You shake off the encounter and exit your office. You turn to your secretary, "Tiffany, it's going to be a busy day! What's next on my schedule?"
