You decide that it is not possible…

After only a few more glances you see that there is to many of them and that they are moving to fast for you. The group is gone in the next 5 minutes which confirms your suspicions that they are faster then normal. You start the process to dawn your gear and fill your bag with everything you need and then start to head toward the military base that is roughly a mile away from your home. From what you saw you decide that it might be best to avoid the main roads because of the amount that they are being traveled. Thankfully there are a good number of alleyways and even a few dry rivers and backyards.

Right before you leave you decide that it would be a good idea to pull down your metal window guards so that no one has an easy way to enter your home and steal everything that you worked toward. After you do this to all your windows you lock your doors and put on all your equipment on and head out. As soon as you leave you head into the alleyway that was right behind your house which goes away from both the lab and the military base. After a few blocks the alleyway terminates at a major street which you peek out to check if it is safe to cross. After looking you see that the road is dead and abandoned except for a few cars that have been abandoned.

For now, you decide that it might be a good idea to use a lot of the back ways instead of the road to avoid either looters or the hordes of those people in fur. After going threw only a few backyards you spot a good amount of people off in the distance, but it is hard to discover who or what were there. This group also slowly started to pick up members from either buildings or nearby streets that had some members in it. You know that if it is military you must join with them and try to get some info out of them. On the other hand, if it is looters or furred people than you must avoid them at any cost.
