Other classes were too boring for Jesse to even register them. Now they were just a flash, an unimportant part of his memory.

Slightly annoyed, he was going through the corridor, straight to Miss Haynes' office, which was placed next to the Physics' classroom. As he was nearing the room, he started hearing weird noises. He couldn't quite tell what they were, but he heard them from... Miss Haynes' office.

"Should I come in..." - He began thinking, going into trance, from which he has been woken by a shout. A very weird shout, that sounded exactly like his name, and came straight from the room before him. He quickly opened the door and put his head in. "Did you call, Miss?" He asked the teacher, which was now looking at him with a surprised face.

"Ah, yes, I knew you were standing there. Please, come in." She shifts a bit in her seat as she says that, but he didn't pay much attention to it and came in.

"Of course, Miss. I'm sorry, but... I think it smells a bit in here. Do you feel that, Miss?"

She looks away nervously, just as Jesse did earlier when talking with her. "I don't think so..."

"Must be my imagination then, I'm sorry."

"It's okay, I don't mind. So... here are the materials... The first level of the contest will take part in our school on 13th May. You shouldn't have any problems with that, but please, treat it seriously." She says that, with a sad look on her face, as if she was missing something. But the boy didn't notice that.

"Wow, that's amazing Miss, thank you. You're so hard working and you can even look pretty and cool at the same time..." After a second, he realized that he may have said a word or two too much. "Umm, sorry, I hope you're not creeped out..." He looked up to her face, obviously red, though he didn't know if she was sick or embarrassed.

"No, no! It's fi-" - she couldn't end as she stood up, something hit the desk from beneath it and she fell to the floor.
