You confront her... and overpower her.

You stop and think carefully for a second. If she can't look into your eyes, she can't control you. This means that you are going to have to fight her blind, at least until you knock the book from her hands. You take a deep breath, close your eyes, and open the door. You make a quick jab in the direction you think her face is at but skim her shoulder. You quickly feel her grip you and knock you to the ground.

She jumps on top of you and smashes you in the face with the book. You hit her in the gut and buy a moment of relief. You can sense another hit coming so you quickly put your arms back up to guard your face. You pull her into a bear hug and begin hitting her back. She struggles her arms free but leaves the book between you. You open your eyes and stop pounding to quickly reach for the book. She was prepared and grabs you by the wrists before you can do so. You are pinned to the ground and she headbutts you three times. You think you feel blood dripping down your forehead and your vision is blurry but you can make out two figures above you. The second figure quickly smashes something over Jacob's head. The debris hits your face but you are otherwise fine. Jacob is laying on the ground **** and Abby is standing above you with a broken chair.

"Baby are you alright?" he says with a look of deep concern in his eyes. He kneels down to you and kisses your face all over.

"I'm alright. I almost had her," you lie.

"What do we do now?" he asks.

You pick up the book. "Whatever we want to do," you say. You look him in the eye. Let's see if memory wiping works, you think. Setting one only erases memories of when they were under control... however two can modify thoughts, and how different is modification and erasing? Two, forget all the details of this book and ignore its existence. He is better off not knowing about the book. It is safer that way. Now, what should I do to Jacob here...?
