Chapter 11 by Trom1806 Trom1806

What are you doing next?

You carefully examine the note and read it.

In the note, an old acquaintance tells Porberd that in the capital of the kingdom of Morthem - the city of Granveith - there are several large outlying quarters in which the poor, small merchants, and ordinary workers of the guilds live.

In these outlying neighborhoods, it is quite unsafe and fights, thefts and other incidents often occur. The note goes on to state: "...remember, Porberd, borrowing from these people is dangerous...but if your business is too bad - in the South Gate district in any tavern, try at your own risk to ask about a person by nicknamed the Merryman...these people obviously have the money to lend."

You memorize this information and take the note with you.

You eat a couple of bread cakes (you now have 8 bread cakes left in your bag).

You are going to carry out the task of Sir Willot and Sir Burward, You are walking through the forest to the east of the village of Werdhat. You walk through the woods carefully and try to notice footprints that indicate the presence of someone nearby.

You are vigilant and careful in your movements and try not to leave traces.

So you explore the forest to the east of the village of Verdhat for 3 hours (you have walked through the forest for about 4 kilometers). Have you detected the presence of orcs in the forest?

You find nothing, but notice the presence of several orcs passing nearby through the forest. You're lucky you found them because they don't seem to notice you!

Should you take the risk and keep watching?
