Chapter 27 by tf-mistress tf-mistress

How does this change the date?

You blew it, man

Ji-Woo Summers

Ji-Woo threw her notes aside in disgust. Sitting in her room, she had been going through the pamphlet Azure had given her. She’d been **** to start over several times due to how revolting the blatant sexism was. However, she finally hit her limit once she reached the section "Sexual Harassment and How to Encourage it."

"젠장. 나는 그 괴물을 죽일 것이다." Ji-Woo muttered to herself, which roughly translated to 'I will fucking kill Azure.' She then added in English, "I don't deserve this.

The career woman wasn't sure what to do next. All options available to her seemed equally horrible. The expectation that she **** and humiliate herself for this farce was terrible enough, but that she had to cheat on her husband, with his son no less, in order to get him back was too much to bear.

However, right then, her brooding was interrupted by the thing she least wanted to deal with: positivity.

"Howdy, roomie," Tomoko announced as she entered with a massive grin, before hopping onto her bed like a child. She had changed her outfit into pajama shorts and a new tank top that covered the tattoo on her midriff.

"You missed an awesome dinner. How's your night going?" she asked, her smile widening.

The mood and expression of the two women were night and day.

Ji-Woo sighed. "Look, Ms. Nakaya. You seem nice, but I'm not in the mood to talk right now."

"Oh, I know how you feel," Tomoko nodded before continuing to talk anyway. "Yeah, this whole thing's a major drag. But I get it. It's a bigger deal for the two of us. We're both in the same boat."

"Are we now?" Ji-Woo asked skeptically. "And what makes you and I so special."

"I mean, it's all about parents and their children, right? You have to date your husband's kid. And I have to date my son's deadbeat father. It's awkward for both of us."

Ji-Woo scoffed. "With all due respect, our situations are not the same."

Tomoko scratched her head in confusion. “Doesn't seem obvious to me.”

"That's because you are suffering from a delusion. Levi isn't a dad."

Tomoko nodded in thought. "Ah, I see. I suppose you're right. Can you call anyone who ran out on their own son a dad? There's more to being a father than just..."

"No, I mean... Christ! How would any of this even work?" Ji-Woo asked in exasperation.

"Huh?"

"How can Levi be the dad if you haven't seen him since he was a kid?"

Tomoko concentrated for a moment, then shrugged with a carefree chuckle. "Look, you're overthinking it. It's just a vibe I got, ya know?"

Ji-Woo rolled her eyes. "No, Ms. Nakaya, not a vibe. It's mind control."

Tomoko waved her hand dismissively. "I think I'd remember if I were mind controlled."

"No, you wouldn't. That's the point of mind... why am I even having this conversation?!"

Ji-Woo fell backward onto the her bed, staring at the ceiling fan. Her usual tolerance for annoyance had hit rock bottom over the day, and she was now talking about magic and mind control like they were everyday things.

Showing a rare case of reading the room, Tomoko decided to drop it and instead looked around to find something else to interest her. In the corner, she spotted a muted TV monitor with the score.

"Man, Princess Mendez is doing well," Tomoko said, breaking the silence that lasted all six of seconds. "She was in last place an hour ago, and now she's right behind me. Good for her."

"Yeah," Ji-Woo replied unenthusiastically. "Good for her."

Levi Summers

Levi watched in stunned silence as Elena lifted his bedside desk without effort. The two had come up to his bedroom so the new amazon could see her reflection in a bedside mirror. She now was testing her strength by lifting progressively heavier objects. So far, nothing attempted made her break a sweat.

"Don't forget to breathe, Levi," Elena said in her new deep voice, noticing his frozen expression. "If you pass out I might not be able to do CPR without crushing you."

She put down the table. "I mean, I guess you don't do CPR if you just forget to breathe, so that joke doesn't... whatever, you know what I'm saying."

"Uh, right," Levi replied, swallowing.

Brushing some dust off her hands, Elena looked around for something else to lift. "Hey Levi, I saw you had a bowling alley. Mind if we see if I can juggle the balls and..."

"Can we... can we just stop and talk a minute?" Levi blurted loudly.

Elena considered Levi momentarily before sitting on the edge of his bed, facing him.

"Ok, about what?" Elena asked after a moment of silence.

"About what?" Levi repeated incuriously. "How about all of... this... this..." Levi had trouble finding the words and gestured to Elena, hoping she'd understand. When she said nothing, Levi finally settled on "...this growth explosion."

"Uh yeah. That's why I wanted to try lifting," Elena replied, unsure where Levi was coming from.

"No... but I... I mean... how can you be so calm about this?"

Elena looked to the ceiling as she considered the question.

"I guess I should be freaking out, huh?" Elena began. "And I was when I started changing. But honestly, when it stopped, everything felt... what's the word... natural." She looked down at her left bicep. "Like I always had this body.”

She then shook her head, reconsidering. “No, that’s not it. More like I’m not surprised. Like I was expecting to end up like this.”

She laughed. "Even though, logically, know that I had no idea. When Azure said 'Amazon', I assumed it would be like Olivia, not She-Hulk."

Her smile faded. "But despite knowing how crazy this is... everything feels... right."

"Are you saying you prefer this?" Levi questioned in disbelief.

Elena shook her head. "No, not necessarily. Giving a preference is like... choosing between your left or your right leg. They're both part of you. That's how it feels. Does that makes sense?"

"How can that possibly be true. I mean just look at you," Levi said without thinking.

He quickly realized this was the wrong thing to say, noticing the sudden pain and offense in Elena's eyes.

“That came out wrong. I mean… uh… well…”

Levi struggled to find the words, hoping Elena would give him a lifeline, but she just watched, waiting to hear what he would say.

“I just meant… that’s not your real body. So maybe Azure is just making you think it’s natural, and you just can’t tell,” he said.

It was obvious to both of them that Levi had just dug himself deeper. Elena tried her best to keep her expression level, but there was a spark of anger in her eyes that made Levi extra conscious of how easily she could snap him in two.

“Look I’m sorry, it's just been a crazy day, and my brains all jumbled,” Levi stammered, searching for any excuse to get out of this hole he dug for himself. “Can… I just step outside for some air, and then maybe we can start over?”

After considering several things to say to him, Elena simply muttered, “Whatever.”

With permission to leave granted, Levi turned his back to Elena and out of his bedroom with a swiftness that looked like he was fleeing from danger, which, in a way, he was.

Turning into the living area, he opened two sliding doors onto the balcony.

It was a clear night, and Levi could see for miles the balcony on top of the tallest tower in the castle.

The stars, or at least the view of them, seemed to be enchanted, showing dazzling colors and distant nebulas like he was on the deck of a starship. Levi briefly considered how strange it was that this didn’t surprise him. In the far distance, he saw the light from building windows. He wondered if they were other people, maybe even other Harem Hotels, or if they were just set dressing planted by Azure.

Was that what Elena was feeling? That she’d been bombarded so much by the impossible that such a radical transformation didn't phase her?

"Damn it," he said, shaking his head to think.

Everything had been going so well. He had so much fun reconnecting with Elena and, for a few fleeting hours, forgetting all this insanity.

But seeing her transform right in front of his eyes had brought him right back into this crazy reality he found himself in.

He couldn't understand why Elena wasn't reacting the same way he was. It was like he was the weird one for not thinking any of this was normal.

He couldn't help but wonder if everyone else had gone insane... or if he had instead.

Levi stood there and thought about this, letting the cool night air wash over him. Though he knew the view was all artificially created by magic, he couldn't help but feel relaxed as he watched the cosmic ballet in the sky above him.

After about ten minutes, he finally felt recovered enough to return and talk to Elena again.

However, when he returned to his room, his whole body froze at what awaited him.

Elena had removed her leotard and was completely naked, except for a black thong, showcasing her ripped muscles, chiseled six-pack, and gigantic breasts. She blushed slightly, especially at Levi's obvious reaction, but other than that, she looked entirely relaxed.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Levi cried.

"Just waiting for you," she answered casually.

"But... I... you’re naked," Levi said, averting his eyes

"I have a thong,"

"You know what I mean!"

"Why are you being weird? You said this ‘wasn't my real body.’ So what does it matter?" She said, a tiny bit of venom in her voice. Detecting it herself in her tone, she sighed and added “This is the point of the show isn’t it? So let's get on with it."

"You shouldn't have to do this," Levi whimpered.

"It's ok,"

"But we're just friends," he challenged.

"We can have benefits," she shrugged.

"This isn't fair for you, though!"

"Levi, I'm letting you. It's fine."

"But, you're being ****."

“No. I'm choosing to do this!"

"But you're under duress," he weakly argued, not knowing what that word meant.

"Is it because of the muscles?" Elena asked, her voice progressively louder. "Are you afraid of me?!"

"No!"

"Then what the hell is it?!"

"I... I..." Levi stammered. "It's just... you wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for the game."

"OBVIOUSLY!" Elena howled and slammed her fist onto the bedrest behind her bedside wall, breaking a hole and cracking the wall behind it.

Levi yelped at the surge of strength and anger from the giant woman, falling backward onto his ass, terrified.

Elena got to her feet and towered over him. "You're not the only one important here, Levi!" she yelled, her thunderous voice shaking him to his bones. "I have my own LIFE to get back to! One that doesn't _just _revolve around you! You're supposed to be my friend Levi! START ACTING LIKE IT!"

Levi screamed for dear life, his fight or flight instincts going into total overdrive, until...

Thump

Made the Master Faint: -2 VP

Elena looked down for several moments, her rage slowly changing to stunned disbelief.

"Seriously... people actually do that?" she asked aloud.

Her feelings transitioned into mild guilt, not having meant to snap at him so intensely. She had never experienced anything like it before. It had been so sudden and animalistic.

She felt an urge to violently shake him awake, but her empathy for her friend won out. She effortlessly picked Levi up and laid him on his bed.

As his friend covered him with a blanket, Levi partially awoke, though he was still between the realms of the conscious and ****.

Looking down at him, she whispered, "Look, Levi. I'm not going to pressure you into anything. But just remember, this is bigger than both of us."

Levi tried to mumble something before falling back asleep, the exhaustion from the day making it harder to stay awake then normal.

Sighing again, the topless amazonian got up and left to the living room, turning out the lights as she did.

Tomoko Nakaya

"Wow, things gotta be going good with Levi and the princess. You go, girl," Tomoko cheered as she saw the rankings update.

"Is this just a game to you?" Ji-Woo snapped, unable to keep to herself any longer after listening to her roommate's constant commentary.

"It literally is,” Tomoko replied, confused.

"No, I mean... are you taking any of this seriously

"Of course I am. I know what's at stake." Her smile faded. "My son."

Ji-Woo's frustration immediately left her, leaving her feeling awkward. She turned to look at Tomoko, having been avoiding the sight of her for the last ten minutes.

"Kaitlyn filled me in on junk I was too drunk to remember. You know, durin' the opening. She said my son doesn't remember me. I never existed, so he's in an orphanage without a mom.”

Tomoko's voice wavered, and her eyes watered. The change in demeanor made her seem like an entirely different person.

"The only way I can be his mom again is to get a hundred points. So if that means I have to get over my feelings towards that deadbeat and ride him a couple of times, so be it."

She wiped away her tears. "I mean, it's just sex, right? There's more important stuff in the world to worry about."

"I'm sorry. I misjudged you," Ji-Woo apologized. "It's just you act so carefree."

Tomoko shrugged. "Well, I'm doing all I can right now and got a couple weeks to make this work. Going nuts worrying aint gunna help no one. So, I may as well enjoy livin' in the moment."

Tomoko smiled, her upbeat energy returning instantly as if her moment of angst never happened.

"I mean, everyone's gotta do things they don't want to sometimes. Ya know, for the folks they love. But that's just life right?"

"Yeah." Ji-Woo mumbled to herself, looking over at the pamphlet telling her how to be Levi’s secretary.

"That's life."
