Chapter 6
by ♡ Red_Cherry ♡
What do you say?
You ask him about the victims
<<Yes actually. You could answer a few questions about some recent events.>> you reply, putting pictures of the missing girls on the counter. <<Tell me if you recognize any of them and if so, please tell me anything that comes to mind. From their routine to the last place anyone saw them.>>
He scratches his beard while observing the documentation. Then replies <<I saw them around frequently but I don't know a thing about these girls. Women don't like my bar, I'm much more informed about men.>>
You know he's lying. He talked about the victims as if they lived in this town when all of them seemed to have their home far away from here. They must've been outsiders, like you. Plus, his lack of emotion's unseattling.
What's your next move?
The investigation
Pursuing a scoop can lead to horrendous truths.
In this story you're a journalist who wants to make the higher ups notice her by providing an exeptional reportage. An accurate analysis of all the latest most controversial events led nowhere. Everyone had their hands on these mainstream scoops. Yet, as you were about to give up, you accidentally heard rumors about the increasing number of girls going missing in a small town out of hand...
