You admit and threaten

Taking a deep breath you reveal to Cindy that you know.

Cindy looks aghast. "Why don't you do something?"

You feel a darkness rush through your body as you plummet farther down in an immoral spiral. "I'm blackmailing her Cindy. And she doesn't want you to say anything, because she knows that the information I have would also ruin you. She tried to protect you, but you chose to betray your best friend."

Cindy stands staring at you with her lips parted. You can see her brain trying to process this information. You continue laying out the situation. "I have photos from your beach party. Photos I'm sure you wouldn't want going to your parents."

"M-Mr. Doe, you're joking, r-right?" She stammers stepping back from you.

You **** a twisted smile. "No, I'm serious. Now here's what you're going to do, Cindy. You're not going to speak a word of this to my daughter. She can't know I'm blackmailing her, but you are going to support her. You're going to go straight back into that house and help her through this complicated time for her."

"You're her father."

"Yes, Cindy, I know. And father's know what's best for their daughters. Like your father will know what's best for you when he receives these photos." It's dark, but you're fairly certain all of the blood has drained from Cindy's face out of fear. "So what's your answer Cindy? Will you stand by Ashley or do I need to send these photos?"
