You accidentally walked into the slums

You have been here before, but never alone and by foot. But the pale walls, damaged streets and broken windows leave no doubt. The street with the bus stop is part of the slums. Eric told you to never go here without him or another guard of your dad. People here are poor and ****. And the whole area is in the hand of violent gangs who flood the streets with guns and ****. You haven’t noticed your lover from last night lives at the border to the slums.

When you notice where you are, you are already deep in the forbidden territory. Your stomach gives you a bad feeling. You shouldn’t be here. It is much too dangerous and people here are ****. Your fathers influence probably can’t protect you here, especially since nobody knows who you are. To you luck, it seems almost nobody is around. The gang members and civilians seem to not leave their rundown homes at the moment.

Only two or three people cross your way. And they seem to be in hurry. They give you suspicious looks but don’t bother you. Maybe they think you are a gang member yourself or under some kind of protection. After some minutes you see a group of people in almost identical hoodies. Gang members you assume. They are not exactly blocking the street, but their appearance still makes sure they consider this street their territory.

Google maps tells you that the shortest way to the bus stop is this street. But then you would have to deal with the gang members. You could also try to walk around them. There is a side street or a way through some back alleys. But you can’t say for sure what awaits you on these paths.
