You get an incredibly white dress that almost hides your bulging belly, and a fairytale wedding in a tiny church atop a hill overlooking the bluest sea one can imagine. You get a fantastic life, with many nights of incredible sex, and a few very painful nights of baby delivery.

You never opt for the pill or an IUD though. What the spell really revealed isn’t that you love sex. It’s that you love being a mom, with children running around that lively (or “noisy” according to your husband) house with the brightly coloured walls you live your happy life in.

And the truth is, this is a much better life than the being-a-virgin-boy-until-your-lawyer-diploma-attracts-a-golddigging-future-ex-wife life you were on track for.
