You wander through the forest, wondering what you're going to do.

The wilds of Rimalla are dangerous, away from population centres, and you're out here without a weapon. That would be unwise, even on major roads. In the middle of untouched forest, it's an invitation to whatever monsters might be lurking out there to make you dinner, or to make you their mate.

Neither prospect is one you particularly like the sound of, but you don't have much choice, unless you consider having your womb overflowing with Arachne eggs as a better alternative. You could go and lie in that trap you found.

You hear running water ahead, and push through the undergrowth to see a large river. It is getting dark, and you need a place to sleep for the night. Somewhere that will keep you sheltered from the elements, and preferably monsters.

Near the bank, there is an old, dead tree. There is a space under its roots where you could just about fit, and it would keep you protected from at least the prevailing wind, and most of the rain. On the other hand, it would offer little protection from any monster that happened to pass by.

On the far side of the river, there are two cave entrances, one large and close to the water, the second smaller and higher up. They would definitely shelter you from the elements, and passing monsters would have no reason to go in there. There are several species of cave dwelling monster, however, who would be very happy to see you if you stumbled into their home. You would also have to cross the river, and while it is rocky enough to not need to wade, you could get quite damp, with no change of clothes.
