Chapter 8

Does the yeti take her to the road, or to its lair? Does it seek to mate with Abby? What happens next?

Yeti's are more than they appear

The guards did tell Abby and the other prisoners that Yetis would come and steal female prisoners in the night if they ever managed to escape or were bad enough. What the guards didn't tell them, or even know, was that Yetis were actually a lot more like humans then people (even bigfoot experts) actually thought.

In fact, they were 100% human! Direct descendants of a small population of unknown ancient humans who were pushed back into the wilderness, becoming more primal and feral as a result.

Which was why The Yeti, despite not being able to speak with the woman over his shoulder, was more than capable of understanding what she was saying. However, Yetis had grown fearful of their Homo Sapiens cousins, and taking her to the road would bring him into contact with them. And that would only lead to disaster.

So, The Yeti instead brought Abby to the one place that he knew was safe: A small cave that served as his lair for several years now.

Abby, on the other hand, looked over her shoulder to see the mouth of the cave, not liking where this was going. "Hey! You big, hairy idiot!" She screamed as she pounded his back with her fists, "I said to take me to the road!"

The Yeti simply ignored her as he stepped into his cave, chuckling a little as he felt her fists against his back. It felt like someone was throwing pebbles at his back.

Inside the cave, Abby couldn't help but notice that it was a lot warmer in here than she expected, something she was quite thankful for. Looking over her shoulder again, the woman saw a roaring fire pit in the middle of the cave, fighting back the biting cold of the outside. And in the corner, the woman saw what looked like an underground hot spring, the mineral water steaming and bubbling like a hot tub.

The Yeti gently sat Abby down on a bed of furs near the fire, the woman sitting up as she basked in the warmth of the fire. "Oh, that feels so good..." She moaned, glad to finally get out of the cold.

And that moan excited The Yeti, knowing from the teachings of his elders that the female letting out a moan was the first step in the mating ritual. And this female must have been ready to mate if she showed up in his territory without those weird wrappings over her hairless body. He could feel his small yet thick manhood getting excited.

However, he wanted to be sure.

Abby smiled as she felt the warmth against her bare skin. Her smile faltered a bit as she felt long, soft hair against her side. Looking up, the woman yelped as she jumped back from the giant, primitive, feral man, landing on her back as she stared up at him in fear.

"W-what do you want?!" Abby asked, not wanting to risk running away. "Don't eat me! Or kill me!"

"Me no eat pretty lady." The Yeti signed, a trait he picked up from watching a group of hikers.

Abby blinked a few times, her fear starting to fade into confusion. "You can understand me?" She asked. When the Yeti nodded, she then asked, "Then why did you bring me here? Why didn't you take me to the road like I asked?!"

"Cave safe. Road not safe." The Yeti signed. "Road have man. Man not safe."

"Okay, so you're clearly not some mindless animal given everything I'm seeing." Abby said as she looked around the cave again. She then turned to The Yeti and asked, "Do you have a name?"

"Me no name." The Yeti signed, shaking his head. "Man give name like Bigfoot or Yeti, but Me no name. What pretty lady name?"

"Uh... Abby." She replied, a little awkwardly. She could actually feel her cheeks heat up at The Yeti calling her pretty. "So, can you speak human, too? Because I can't really wrap my head around you being to understand me otherwise."

The Yeti shook his head. "Me no talk like Pretty Lady Abby." He signed, "Me only growl, roar, and grunt. Me understand pretty lady because me and pretty lady not family cousins."

"'Family co-'?" Abby began in confusion before finally connecting the dots. "Oh! Oh, you mean that your kind are feral -" her eyes bugged out in shock, "YETIS ARE FERAL HUMANS?!"

The Yeti nodded with a smile. "Yes." He signed, "Me saw Pretty Lady Abby out in snow and took Pretty Lady Abby where Pretty Lady Abby can be safe and warm."

"Oh, uh, thank you." Abby responded, still trying to wrap her head around this.

"Me have question for Pretty Lady Abby now." The Yeti signed as he got to his feet, towering over Abby with a hopeful expression. "Pretty Lady Abby be Me mate?"

Now, the reason that Abby was able to understand The Yeti's sign language at all was brcause she had spent a year with a deaf inmate who taught her sign language in order to commuincate, something that the woman was quick to pick up even after said inmate was transferred to another prison. The problem here, however, was that the inmate in question was from Australia.

So when Abby saw The Yeti sign out "Mate", so automatically assumed that The Yeti was asking her if she wanted to be friends.

Unaware of the actual meaning of the question, Abby thought about it. The Yeti seemed a lot nicer and sweeter than the guards had implied; not an animal nor a monster, but a giant, hairy, and naked literal wild man that, from the words he signed, would've spoken like a cartoon cave man if he was able to. Plus, given that he looked to be around 9.5' tall and over eight hundred pounds of pure muscle, Abby figured that he'd make a good bodyguard if the prison guards ever tracked her down.

"Well, I don't see why not..." Abby said with a shrug, figuring that she could at least wait until winter was over to leave and get back to civilization.

Still unaware of the actual nature of the question.

The primitive feral man began to grin wildly as he clapped his hands together, feeling his small and thick manhood become harder. The female was ready to mate! Now was the time to begin courting her.

How does The Yeti court Abby? Does Abby finally figure out what's going on?
