You dart your way through several more dark and filthy alleys, and then into an open street. You cause quite a commotion among the people who did notice you. Aside from the mutterings ,a few loud cat calls and whistling follow behind you as you leave the street and enter another alleyway. "Dammit" you say to yourself, the last thing you need is a trail of noise letting your pursuers know where you are. You rush along the shadowy channel of buildings and rubbish, then duck around a corner and hide there. The voices of the guards had been long lost several alleys ago.

You take a few minutes to catch your breathe and let yourself calm down. Cold air which helps cool you down breezes through the narrow corridor of buildings and whisks your hair around yourself. Ahead, you see another street clamoring with noise and bustle, busy with citizens and soldiers. "I shouldn't go back out in to the streets until I find some clothes" you think to yourself looking down at your exposed self, save your panties. Looking around the vicinity you doubt you'll find anything useful nearby.

There would certainly be something to wear in these houses , but that would involve asking the owners to let in a mostly naked girl into their home. On top of that you’d have to head out in to the street to reach the door. An even riskier alternative would be to try and break in to one of the houses by climbing through the second story window. That would certainly make trouble if someone inside tried to find help, or even worse tried to kill you. Or you could just hide here until nightfall, the streets will be significantly less crowded, and you’ll be able to sneak around much easier, although who knows who may wander back here.
