Alice frantically searched around for a place to hide behind, and the only non-barren spot around was an oak tree a few yards away. She looked to her mom, and said “I’m ready. Count out loud to ten, then you can turn around.”

Alice’s mom stifled a laugh, then said “Alright then. One... Two...”

Alice quickly took off for the tree. As she started towards it, she realized she might should have given herself more time to get there.

“...Three... Four...”

She wasn’t even halfway to the tree yet, and her time was almost halfway up. She increased her pace, letting her arms fall down to her sides to run at a dead sprint.

“...Five... Six...”

Alice was almost at the tree, and could already see it looked thinner at the base the close you got to it. It might not be the best cover, but it was her only cover at the moment.

“...Seven...Eight...”

She reached the tree, and quickly placed herself behind it. While near her chest and face the tree began to fork off into two branches conveniently covering her upper body, the lower half was guarded by the main trunk of the tree, and she could tell the sides of her bare hips and legs would be seen from the car. She pressed everything as close together as possible, and just in time.

“...Nine...Ten!”

Alice’s mom turned to face where Alice had been standing, but only saw a pile of clothes in the passenger seat. She looked further to the left, and saw her daughter hiding her obviously nude figure behind a small oak tree. She laughed, because while her daughter had obviously been trying to hide herself, it clearly hadn’t turned out as intended since she could see her daughter’s bare hips and legs spilling over the sides of the tree. “See? Was that so bad?” She said with a smile.

“I guess not...” Alice spoke shyly.

“Well, I’ll see you at Grandma’s in a few. By honey!” Alice’s mom said with a wave.

“...Bye Mom.” Alice responded meekly. She watched her mom roll up the window, and turn the car in the other direction. Soon, she saw the car go over a hill, out of site. Now she was several miles from any type of clothes she could wear, and naked from head to toe.
