Alice thought for a long time. On the one hand, she definitely didn’t want to strip naked and run to her grandma’s house. Who knows who could see her? She shuddered just thinking about it.

On the other hand, she really didn’t want to disappoint her family. To have the tradition carried out by everyone in the family, only to have it broken because one person couldn’t do what several others before her had done seemed a little selfish. She sighed, deciding to do the deed as quickly as possible, before the guilt-trip would wear off.

“...I guess I’ll do it...” Alice said nervously.

“Yes! Ok. Just get out of the car, and put all your clothes in the backseat.” Alice’s mom said shocked, and excitedly.

“Alright...” Alice replied, her voice shaking.

As she got out of the car on the passenger side, she thought “Am I really doing this?” After shutting the door, Alice took a good look around. To her left, and right, were fields, and no sign of civilization showed along the road. She took several deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. The window beside her rolled open.

“Just take some deep breaths. There’s nobody out here but you and me.” Alice’s mom spoke calmingly.

“...Could you do me a favor and look away?” Alice asked pleadingly.

Alice’s mom laughed, then said “Sure honey. Let me know when you’re ready.”

Alice saw her mom turn her head towards the fields on the opposite side of the road, confirming she had honored her request. First, Alice began by removing her shoes. The morning dew soaked through her socks, dampening them.

Next, she slowly removed her socks. The tall grass felt soft upon her bare feet. Nervously, Alice debated how best to continue.

“Alright. Now I have to either take off my shorts, or my shirt” She thought contemplatively. Eventually, she took a deep breath, and unbuttoned her shorts. Then, she lowered them quickly, and stepped out of them without a moment to hesitate. She could already feel an urge to put them on again, so she quickly tossed them, along with the shoes and socks into the car.

Alice’s mom turned her head towards her daughter. “Are you done yet?” She asked plainly.

“Not yet! Look away!” Alice yelled, embarrassed.

She couldn’t help but sigh. “I can’t even handle my mom seeing me without any pants on. How am I going to get through going all the way home without anything on?” Alice thought shamefully.

She shook her head, focusing on the task at hand. Looking to her left and right confirmed nobody else was coming down the road, so she continued by removing her shirt.

As she felt a light breeze blow across her bare chest, Alice couldn’t help but shiver. She tried reasoning with herself that it was just like a bikini, but the black, lacy bra and panties did a poor job of convincing her of that. Knowing she’d be tempted to put it back on, she tossed it into the car, among her other clothes.
