Chapter 7 by glamorousbnuuy glamorousbnuuy

Does Cindy go in?

Yes

"Fine, okay. Just for a bit, though, yeah?", Cindy responds, feeling a swirl of uncertainty roll around in her stomach. She wasn't sure if this was a great idea - but it was either this, or having her mouth reduced to the talking point of every man she now encountered. Her phone buzzed happily, a little notification popping up to inform her that she'd received the reward.

Not that she noticed - she felt incredibly out of place standing there in the simple pajama pants and t-shirt she wore, feet stuffed into tiny, minty blue flip-flops she'd otherwise mostly use when going to a neighboor in the building. They kept her toesies warm, at the very least.

The rest of the apartment was about as she could remember it - a true boy's den. The interior decorating was minimalistic at best, with the greatest investments clearly having been made in the kitchen, where an open pizza box stood, next to at least a dozen empty beer cans. Inside were a total of 3 guys - Chris, her neighbor. A dark-skinned, bald dude who looked like the walking stereotypical basketball player - with visible muscles to boot - and a brunette who looked like - well, there's no nice way to say it, but he looked like an actual white guy techbro.

"Uh. hi," Cindy introduced herself, stepping in - momentarily freezing as she heard the door shut behind her, trapping her in the testosterone-drenched atmosphere. A variety of responses came, each and every fucking one of them sounding like they were a come-on. 'Hey', 'Hey doll', 'Sup babe?', to name a few.

"Let's all be real nice to my neighbor Cindy here, yeah? She's probably got some important protest or something tomorrow. Here, Cindy, sit. I'll grab you a beer.", Chris smirked, guiding the mousy woman down towards the couch, where she awkwardly was put down between the techbro-wannabe and the dark-skinned basketball posterboy.

"Uhm, hi. I'm, uh, Cindy.", she mumbled, feeling - god - why the fuck did she do this? She felt like a rabbit in the lion's den, or whatever the fuck the saying was. She couldn't even bring herself to be all aggro to them, either, because- well- they wouldn't like that, would they?

"Hey Cindy. I'm Trent", Mr. Basketball replied, scooching up to her, laying a hand on her shoulder.

"Uh, hey-"

"And I'm Brett.", the techbro interrupted, making Cindy turn her head a near-180 between the two of them.

"Couldn't sleep?", Trent asked, smirking. "Y'know, I know a way to really make you relax. If you want, we can go to your place, I'll show ya."

"Hands off, Trent. She's a lady, you can't just assume she's some slut," Brett interjected.

Oh thank god.

"Why don't we go back to my place instead? Get away from here. My dad's about to close this massive deal, so all the staff is busy. It'd just be us, mh?" Brett continued.

"I - look, it's not- I just thought I'd say hi, not-"

"Here you go.", she heard Chris say.

She suddenly lost her phone. Or, rather, it was plucked out of her hand, replaced by an ice-cold beer - so fucking cold, in fact, that it caught her completely off-guard, promptly dropping it. "Shit!", she exclaimed, gingerly looking down at her beer-stained sweatpants. There's no fucking way. "Someone get me some paper?", she asked, picking up the now half-empty bottle of beer from the floor, setting it on the low table in front of the couch.

"Woah, chill babe.", Trent replied. This was too much, it was so fucking disorienting. "I- I am chill, I just-"

"I'll get you some paper," Chris declared, smirking for a second. "But you should take off those pants. Don't wanna catch a cold, do you?", he sleazily continued.

"I - no, I should just get home, this wasn't a good idea, okay?"

"Woah woah, babe, you just got here," the two guys flanking her utter in a near-chorus-like fashion, one laying a hand on her thigh - high up on her thigh, at that - whilst the other held her shoulder. "Stay for a bit. I'm sure Chris has some spare stuff you can borrow, don't you?", Brett continued.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure.", Chris replied distractedly. Cindy looked up to take the tissues he offered - and promptly paled when he saw her messing around with her phone. With the game. The app. Oh god.

"Oh, you're supposed to match them.", he mumbled.

No. No no no.

"I need my phone, now, please-"

"Woah woah, babe, relax. You're with friends here. Take a deep breath, doll.", Trent intervened, tensing the grip on her shoulder some. No no no.

"No, you don't understand, I need to- There's a game, I was going to win it, I was gonna-"

The buzzer noise of failure filled the room, making Cindy's heart drop like a rock. She sobbed, desperation filling her. She was fucking trapped and Chris had her phone and was fucking- he wasn't Chris anymore! He was some- some asshole-version of Chris!

"PleaseGiveMeMyPhoneBackNowINeedItPlease-," Cindy rambled, to seemingly deaf ears.

"Punishment? What's this?"

Chris squinted, looking at the phone.
