Chapter 14 by DaBook DaBook

Will they go to the Inn?

Yes

Moving aside the rag that marked the entrance, they saw the inside didn't look much better than the outside. Still, it’s better than nothing. With the sun already setting, the windows were covered by the curtains, leaving the lower level illuminated by the fireplace and candles spread around the lower level. The lower level seems to be a small bar, a few groups of patrons have just started ordering their drinks and settling into a raucous night. Barmaids set out to take their orders, sauntering around the bar to lustful patrons. Whenever they had to take an order, they bent over and showed their bosom for the drooling patrons. They spoke like common whores, and whenever they turned their back, there was always a hand reaching out for their ass. They always pretended to act they didn’t notice, Helena’s face curled in disgust. She bets they would sleep with these pigs for a larger tip! The group walked right past them, right up to the bartender-who was already working on making drinks for their patrons.

The bartender is a huge man. His balding, shiny head nearly touches the ceiling, his tanned skin glistening with sweat. He has huge arms and an even bigger belly, his shirt is stretched to its limits, struggling to contain his mass. He’s a ugly, scary looking man, a large scar stretched diagonally across his face, starting from the left from the corner of his lip, all the way up to right eyebrow. Half of his nose is missing; that-combined with his grey eye, made him look half-dead. Once he was done making the first order of drinks, he turned to the trio, taking a moment to look at the newcomers. "Hello sirs-and lady," he says, looking at Helena "how can I help you today?"

"Good evenin', sir. How much can we get for a room?" Sobe asks the bartender. The bartender looks down at Sobe. He sighs, setting down the drinks and calling up a barmaid to serve the drinks.

"We only have a few rooms available right now, and they might be too small for the three of you. I have to suggest you go elsewhere..."

“Is there anywhere else we can go?” Sobe asks, only slightly annoyed with the bartender’s attitude.

“Oh, sorry, we don’t shout out competition, You’ll have to find it yerself!”

The bartender laughs in Sobe’s face, and Helena could see his hand moving down to his sword. Imo probably saw him too, so he decided to negotiate for them. He got right up in the bartender's face, a sultry smile creeping across his face. He showed off as much of his assets as he could, which included his impressive bulge. "Oh, sir please, we’ve got nowhere else to go! You wouldn't send me away, would you?"

The bartender looked at Imo, blushing hard and caught completely off guard by his lustful demeanor. He stands for a minute, looking like he might try to argue with him. That is, until he sighs again, and caves in. "Alright, it'll be 15 bronze ones for a night, can you pay?"

Imo dug into his bag, pulled out a pouch full of coins, and pulled out 15 bronze coins of varying quality. Some look freshly minted while others look like they've been sitting in the bottom of the ocean for hundreds of years. The bartender takes the coins and hands Imo a small wooden tablet with the number 6 on it. "That'll be the room you lot will stay in, just keep going left on the second floor 'till you find it."

“I should ask, is it possible for you to deliver drinks up to our room? We’re all tired and rather enjoy our drinks in private.”

The bartender looks at Sobe, trying his best to hold in his laughter. “Look, I don’t know we you come from, but around here, you drink with everyone or not at all-”

The bartender cuts himself off when Sobe yanks the rope that holds the bound amazon. The bartender jumps back and yelps in surprise when he realizes what he’s looking at. He leans in as close to Sobe as he can. “An amazon! How did you-nevermind! I’ll take her to the staples to spend the night. I’ll get one of the barmaids to deliver the drinks. For free! Of course…”

The bartender grabs the rope and hurriedly drags the amazon away to the stable. As he goes, Imo loudly thanks him for his service. A few of the already plastered patrons turned to him. Only to turn right back around when Sobe glared at them. The trio quickly walked upstairs to their room, the rotting wood creaking under their feet. They soon reach their room, the number 6 carved onto the dry wood. Sobe pushes the door open, a wall of dry, dusty air hits the group. The room only has the bare necessities, a large bed, a table and a few chairs. The bed was bare, with the sheets folded in left underneath the window. The window had nothing covering it, not even a curtain.

The men walked through the small room, while Helena stayed glued to the entrance, like she was scared to enter. Their faces couldn't be more different from each other. Sobe looked like he regretted even setting foot in this town, while Imo beamed with relentless optimism. He seemed determined to make something of this room. He riles up the rest of the group to get to work, wanting to get the room clean before the drinks come in. Sobe listened, setting the bed and lighting the candles, while Imo cleared out the table and Helena excused herself to the bathroom. By the time she came back, the room looked somewhat habitable now.

"See Sobekampf, you can drop that nasty look now! It didn't take much to make this room look pleasant!"

Sobe looked at Imo, snorting at his attempt to lighten the mood. "Pleasant is not a word I would use to describe anything in this town, much less the room we got..."

As soon as the words left his mouth, there was a knock on the door that startled Helena. She opened it and was met with a barmaid with a platter of drinks. “Three drinks for room six!”

Sobe walks up to the door and takes the drinks without a word. The barmaid still stood there with a hand outstretched. “Care to leave a tip, sir?” she asked. Sobe eyes her half a second before slamming the door in her face.

“How rude, you know she’s a working girl, can’t you be bothered to part with some coins?" Imo says as Sobe walks to the table. He sets the drinks down with a bang, the sound rattling the entire room.

“This place doesn’t deserve any more of my coin than I’ve already given.”

“Hmm, you know what? You need to relax. This place is clearly a little too unfamiliar for you. Let This is going to be our home for the night, so…” Imo sways his hips as he walks up to Sobe, a hand tracing down his chest, and another on his bulge. "I can help you make this place feel a little more like home, if you would be so inclined~"

Sobe's face seemed to lighten up just a little, something resembling a smile creeping on his lips. He grabs a mug, taking a long sip before saying "Well, since this will be our home for the night, we should break it in, the best way we can..."

Imo enjoys a little bit of his drink too, then the two men start making out. Starting with quick kisses before long, drawn out tongue mashing, with each man taking each other's clothes off. They stop making out every now and enjoy more of the ****, their faces getting redder as the drinks flowed through their system. Helena, watching all this in the corner, could feel herself getting aroused. Eventually, Imo noticed and stopped for just a moment and motioned to Helena.

"Dear, we shouldn't leave our overseas friend out of the fun, especially when she looks so eager."

Sobe looked over to Helena, giving out a rough sigh. “Well grab a drink and join if you want.”

Will she join in?
