"We don't need this to be a fight" you tell her.

"No" she asks "why not" she says in an almost teasing and disappointed tone. Although you have yet to hear any language other than English you still feel a little relieved that communication was possible.

"People get hurt in fights" you reply.

"They die too" she states as she starts moving to her left. To counter you move to the right. Watching her steps you notice she seems well accustomed to moving around on the uneven ground.

"Yes, they do, but I don't want to kill anyone today" you reply with a smirk.

"How generous of you" she smirks and then quickly thrusts her spear straight at you. The speed and accuracy of her thrust is what you expected from her, but it is still surprising the speed she puts into the attack. You doubt many could manage to dodge it. You step to the side drawing your blade to slice upwards to deflect her attack. She spins and draws the spear back in into a defensive stance, and follows by starting to step to her right. Keeping pace you begin stepping to your left with your blade held defensively in front of you.

"What is your name" she asks.

"John Doe" you answer. In reply she spins herself around bringing her spear around in a powerful roundhouse swing. You steady your stance and block the blade of her spear with both hands on your sword. A loud clang of metal echoes through the forest. The hit is so hard your hands hurt from the clash of blades. She withdraws her spear immediately stabbing forward forcing you to duck down under it. Two more times she rapidly withdraws her spear to stab forward. You step out of the path of the second thrust and on the third thrust you smack the tip of her spear with your blade downwards causing it to stick into the dirt. You casually place your foot on the wood of her spear and prop your sword on your shoulder. In response she suppresses a smile as she yanks her spear back making you reset your footing.

"It seems you can't touch me, and I don't want to try getting close to you" you say smiling. Looking back you find you have your back to the crevice again.

"You are very quick" she replies leaning on the butt of her spear again "but fights are never fair" she adds with a smirk. Two more women just as tall and strong as the first step from behind some trees. They advance to stand on either side of the first. You notice something they don't however as their focus seems entirely on you. You stand there smiling.

"Do you submit" the first woman asks.

"I don't think I will, no" you reply still smiling. The women look at each other and then back to you.

"We will not hold back" the first woman states plainly.

"I wouldn't expect you too, but I am rather surprised about something" you reply.

"That a woman could beat a man" she says in a mocking tone.

"Nah, I know several woman better than me in many things. Considering how easily you snuck up on me I'm surprised you'd let something like that sneak up on you" you respond by pointing behind them. The women glance behind them as if expecting a trick, but they yelp in surprise as Copper and Lysandra stand watching them. Even you were more than a little surprised that Lysandra was able to sneak up without making any sound. Seeing that the women's focus was now on them Lysandra let out a mighty roar causing the women to adopt a defensive, but shaky, stance. You could tell they were trying to figure out if it was time to fight or flee. Sheathing your sword with a flourish you walked through the group of women to Lysandra and Cooper. Who both lowered their heads for you to give them some scratches and pats.

"Aella" one of the women says addressing the first.

"I am aware" the first woman replies sharply. She stares at the two dinos for a moment, particuarly Lysandra, and then looks at you in a more serious manner.

"John, it is time to clear the way between us. We did not sneak up on you, instead you walked into our hunting spot. You are a skilled warrior as well as a shaman. I, Aella, daughter of Lira, offer you safe passage to our village as my guest" she states bowing her head in your direction.

"I gladly accept Aella. Would it be possible to bring other's with me" you ask. Aella's head tilts slightly at the request.

"There is a celebration in two days. My sister is to become a woman. We would be honored for you and yours to attend the celebration" she replies.

"In two days we will meet again then" you say bowing slightly.

"Aella he has never been to our village before" one of the women quietly states.

"It is" you say turning your head to find the waypoint of what you are betting is their village "that direction" you finish pointing towards the waypoint. Aella's head tilts again as she stares at you.

"Yes...it is. We look forward to talking with you more at the celebration. The celebration starts at sunset" she states.

"Very well, we'll arrive well before then" you reply.

"Ladies, it is time we headed back" Aella stated. The two women bowed their head in response and started walking around Cooper and Lysandra.

"Safe travel" Aella bows her head at you and turns to leave.

"Safe travel" you call out after her.

"John" you hear Dawn speak after Aella disappears into the forest.

"Yes" you reply.

"We are all very...eager, for you to return now" she states.

"Yah I'll be home shortly" you respond. You give Copper and Lysandra a few more pets before turning to head back to the Sanctuary.
