What else was Kasha here for besides treasure and glory? Carefully, she began to examine the chest from every angle. There were no visible mechanisms coming out of the chest. Pulling out her lock picks, she carefully began to pick the lock, feeling around for the tumblers she needed to hit.

Only moments later, the lock came undone with a click. But Kasha only opened the chest a hair, using certain thieves tools to feel around inside for anything she could set off.

Once again, everything was clear.

Finally lifting the lid of the chest, Kasha was greeted by a layer of silver coins with several jewels on it. Only a fraction of what the chest could potentially fit, but still a welcome discovery. Tossing her findings into her bag, she closed the chest back up and continued her trek.

She had no way of knowing that this chest was just a bit of positive reinforcement to ensure adventurers would check every chest going forwards.
