Winlay watched Beldan's eyes as he took in what she had said. Then he took a step back and waved to the guards.

"Release her. I think she is telling the truth."

Winlay let loose a sigh of relief as the two men came into the room, one carrying a set of robes for her to put on. She slipped it on and Beldan came over and took her in a firm embrace.

"Ah Sister, I was so worried. I hope you don't hate me, but I had to be certain. The Templar jumped the gun when they came for you, but when word that the High Priest is attacked reaches certain ears, it is hard to rein them in."

Winlay buried her face in the large man's chest and cried. She was so glad that the ordeal was almost over. His hands came down to rub her back and ass as he held her to him.

"I don't hate you, I just couldn't believe that you would think I could be part of something like that. After everything that has happened..."

"Shh it is ok my darling. Lets get you back to the room. I will see to it that you are taken care of."

Winlay allowed herself to be led to the door, but then a thought occurred to her. Mika was still down here somewhere. Was she hurt? Had she really tried to kill Beldan? What would happen to her now? Winlay still cared about her friend and was worried about her, but she didn't know if letting Beldan know about it was a good idea. But still...
