Beldan interogates Winlay

Winlay was chained to the wall for over an hour before she heard the heavy footfalls that could belong only to Beldan. The fat High Priest stormed into her chamber and over to her. Winlay could see that the sleeve of his right arm had been cut and that a fresh bandage had been applied, but he looked alright to her. He looked her naked body up and down for a moment and then stared into her eyes.

"Tell me what you know about the **** attempt!"

Winlay was in shock. She had no prior knowledge of any kind of attack or **** attempt before Anna had come in that morning.

"Lord Beldan, I have been in bed all morning. I slept in because of..."

She blushed, trying to keep the thoughts of the night before out of her mind but was failing miserably. She could feel her pussy getting wet, even in the situation she was in.

"Because of our sex last night. I had no idea that anything was going on. Why would you suspect me?"

Beldan took a step back from her and pulled a blade from under his robes and held it up for her to see. The blade was small and made of steel. Beldan held it close to Winlay's face so she could see the sharp edges.

"Does this mean anything to you? Tell me now!"

"Sir I've never seen such a weapon. All I could tell you is that it is sharper than anything I have seen."

Beldan began pacing the room, occassionally looking over at her. She could see hunger in his eyes, but he was mulling something over in his mind. After a few moments he stopped in front of her again, taking her face into his hands so he could look into her eyes.

"Listen to what I am about to say carefully Winlay. My believing you will determine your fate, so think hard when you answer me. The assassin was your former roomate, a young woman named Mika. I have already spoken to her and she says you were not in on the attack. Convince me that she was telling the truth."

Winlay shook her head, tears forming in her eyes.

"I promise I haven't done anything wrong! Lord Beldan, I have been with you since the day you made me your voice. I hade only met Mika on the way here to the capital from New Canterbary. We had no meetings before then and it was only coincidence that our rooms were put together. Since you made me your Voice, I have done everything I could to please you. Please lord Beldan, you must believe me!"

Beldan stared into her eyes for nearly a minute before answering.
