While you are technically only a few moments old, some elements of the mystic energies that fused your flesh and soul are ancient. The blood of primordial creatures was used to form your body, and it gave several unique advantages.

The first one was a very keen instinct: You knew without any further demonstration that your creator was more powerful than you in battle. So much in fact, that the chance of you winning was 0%.

Which brings us to your second advantage: The mutated neurons in your brain did more than just measure the strength of potential opponents. Any intelligent being can learn, but you can do so with superhuman speed and capacity. In practice this allowed you to analyze the fighting style of an enemy during a fight, replicate it and come up with the most useful countermeasures in mere seconds. But this ability has limits. It is not very effective in fields other than movement patterns and combat strategy.

The third thing we need to address is your knowledge. You have inherited some faint genetic memories from your ancestors. Not much, but enough to give you speech and some general information about the world and your place within it.

You have several more important abilities that will come into play later, but it is because of your instinct, your analytical skill and your limited knowledge, that you decide to accept the dark Lord as your master. You kneel and speak for the first time: "I would be honored to join your legions great one, I swear to destroy your enemies. I will conquer their lands in your name. I will enslave their wives and daughters and give them to you as tribute!"
