“Ms. Sullivan and Ms. Sinclair, you two are paired. Ms. Knoxville, Ms. Fuckler, you’re together.” Ms. Remington said. While a tad hurt that her unfortunate nickname was better known to some teachers than her real name, Nora was mostly unbothered by the error.

Earlier this week, she’d made a promise to herself. The next time she and Molly were alone together, she’d tell her about her feelings. She’d already broken that promise about seven times, but she was determined to finally work up the courage. She’d tell her, and if Molly didn’t feel similar, she wouldn’t cry.

Alright so she’d cry when she got home, for like, a day, but she’d stay strong in the moment… she hoped.

“Well I guess it’s just gonna be you and me, Connie.” Amber said, deciding that if she was gonna be stuck with Connie, she would at least make her as miserable as herself. Connie rolled her eyes as she took their assignment from Ms. Remington.

“Whatever.” She said, already loosing some of her steam knowing she probably wouldn’t have many chances to mess with Nora.

Amber and Connie left, and shortly after Molly and Nora followed, taking their own assignment as well.

“Sooo…” Molly said.

“Sooo…” Nora responded.

The two just stared at each other for a while, each one trying to calm themselves down.

“W-what’s it say our topic is?” Molly asked.

“Oh, um, it looks like we’re supposed to be…”
