Shepard was startled as she felt a hand on her shoulder, but she quickly relaxed as she recognized the touch on her body. She felt Liara wrap her arms around her, bringing her in to a tight embrace. “I’ve missed you,” Liara whispered. “So much.”

“Liara…” Shepard whispered as she turned around leaning against the wall, she pulled Liara toward her, kissing her as the water flowed down their bare bodies. “I love you.”

“I love you too…” Liara said. “More than you will ever know. And know that my love for you will never end. Even if you move on.”

Liara knelt down, getting on her knees as she submitted to Shepard. “What are you doing? Aren’t I supposed to submit to you?”

Liara shook her head. “No, mistress. I must submit to you,” Liara said.

“What?” Shepard said, then her eyes widened. “Liara… what did you do?”

“I did the only thing I could to free you of your contract,” Liara said. “I now belong to you until the day I die. My body is not my own. My soul is yours. And if you die before I do, I’ll be transferred to whomever you choose or I’ll be defaulted to Aria. This is how it will be forever.”

“Liara… no!” Shepard cried as she knelt down, taking Liara into her arms. “Please no… I could never… you shouldn’t have… I’ll end the contract.”

“You can’t,” Liara said. “Even if your Spectre status is reinstated, even you cannot end the contract. The contract is legal and binding. It cannot be broken.”

“But… why…”

“Because I love you,” Liara said. “And I don’t want to see you suffer.”

“But…” Shepard cried. “But you’ll be… a ****… until the day you die… and…”

“That’s just how it will be,” Liara said.

Shepard gently kissed Liara. “I… I love you… I… I vow… to never wear clothes ever again… if you are to be naked, I will be too. I will stand by your side. I will protect you.”

“Shepard…”

“I promise, Liara. We’re in this together,” Shepard said.

Liara smiled. “Yes, mistress.”
