Does Claire’s plan work?

Yes it does!

The Baryonyx’s turned its sniffing nose down the right hallway. Claire had to stop herself from laughing with joy as the dinosaur went down the hallway. It stopped just before her bundled-up tank top, giving it a deep sniff and brushing past it. Its gagged teeth hooked onto the tank top and it was carried upward. Claire couldn’t care less about losing it as the Baryonyx fell for her trick. It wandered down the hallway, sniffing the air for Claire. However, since her tank top was hooked onto its mouth, it was just getting barraged by the smell radiating off of it. It was getting a constant feed of false positives as it ventured deeper into the Visitor Centre.

Claire was ecstatic! She’d tricked it! She had to give herself a little fist pump before deciding her next course of action. Her elbow accidentally struck a stone and caused the gap behind her to shift. Claire panicked and thought she was going to be caved in when a light suddenly shines behind her. The debris further in the gap had fallen and revealed the light to the outside!

Claire just had to give a silent prayer to God or whoever was listening for her sudden stroke of luck. Claire thought about moving through the gap and stopped herself. The gap, despite widening, was still small. It would be a tight squeeze for her. She looked back to the hallway T-junction. It was clear now and she could backtrack to find another escape route…
