Yes (and he leave her be)

Sarah took the ring because she thought it belonged to Spencer, but she didn't intend to steal to someone she didn't know. As hypocritical as it sounded. With the hour she just had, she didn't had the will to fight or lie about it.

"Yes, sorry, I thought it was Spencer's." She told him.

The man took back the ring and put it on his little finger of the right hand. He then left, leaving Sarah going back home, unaware that the ring was the source of all her troubles.

When the girl got back in the apartment, it was clean. Probably cleaner that it has been for month. Spencer was putting some books in her bag and was ready to leave.

"Wow, I didn't expect you to go that far..." Noted Sarah.

"Well, I often make a mess here, I could do at least that. You're back already ?" Said her roommate.

"I wasn't feeling well, I'll probably skip for today."

Spencer looked at her in surprise.

"Well, that's an interesting day, I clean up and you skip classes." She said with a laugh.

But Sarah wasn't in the mood, so she just made a "MmMh..." and went to her bedroom.

"Anyway, I'm late, I'm going to classes. See you later !" Told her the girl.

Sarah threw herself on the bed and tried to sleep, maybe when she'd wake up, everything would be back to normal.
