Yes, you escape.

You hobble after the two men as fast as you can, **** to get away from the mall. Carl has his hand blocking the car park elevator's doors from closing and you lurch into the elevator with the sound of running feet not far behind you. Carl whips his hand away and both he and his companion flip the finger to the mall security as the doors close in their face. In your heady relief at having escaped from the clerk you join in the two men's laughter and lean against the wall out of breath.

"Hope your wheels ain't too far from the elevator." Carl's friend says.

You shake your head, still unable to speak unless it's to complain about the clerk.

"How'd you get in that shit anyway?" Carl asks.

"That bastard tricked me into the back of the shop." You say, keeping the unbelievable details to yourself. " Then he wouldn't let me go and took my..err..my daddy's wallet and keys."

"What a fucking loser." The white guy says. "Still we fucking showed him ehh?"

"Too fucking right." Carl agrees. "I reckon Lenny here broke that fuckers nose with the first punch."

"Yeah reckon I did too." Lenny affirms. "But enough about that little shit. Forget about him baby, wish we could talk about something else."

You feel like a weight's been lifted from you and the thought occurs to you that people seem to be using the term I wish... a lot. Is it that common a phrase or is it the influence of the collar around your neck?

The elevator stops and the doors hiss open.

"My daddy's car is just over here." You say, glad to have the power of speech back.

All three of you pile into your Lexus, Carl taking shotgun and Lenny in the back. Now that you're clear of the mall you wonder what you should do next. After your experiance with the clerk you decide telling the truth to Carl and Lenny would be too risky.

"Oh fuck!" You swear as you think things through and a horrible thought comes to you. "That jerk went through my..daddy's wallet. He might remember my address."

"So what?" Lenny says. "That little fucktard's hardly gonna go to you house and risk running into your daddy. Besides you could call the cops."

"My daddy's kind of gone away at the moment and I'm not sure when he'll come back." You say twisting the truth. "And I really don't want the cops involved in this."

"Not too keen on the law ehh?" Carl says. "Know that feeling sister. If you ain't got noone home how's about me and Lenny hanging out for a bit? We got some weed and could pick up some beers, have ourselves a little party."

You mull over this suggestion. These two are complete strangers, but so far have treated you well. The clerk on the other hand knows your secret and is some kind of psycho.
