Yes, somebody doesn't like your presence

The fast food restaurant is not very big but at least the employees keep it quite clean, which is not a matter of course for highway restaurants. There are not many people around. Only a few cargo drivers and construction workers who sit on the tables and eat their late lunch. At the order counter is a girl about your age. You assume she is a student from the area and earns some money with this job.

“Welcome,” the girl says and smiles friendly, “what can we get you?”

“I have two medium burger meals with soda and a fruit bag with water please,” you order, “all to go.”

“That’s all?” the young employee asks after a moment and raises her right eyebrow, “don’t you forgot anything?”

“Not that I know?” you answer a little confused, “why?”

“Oh, it’s just that by now most customers ask for my number or when I finish work,” the girl mumbles and shakes her head, “not that I mind somebody behaves himself, but today you are the first guy here who isn’t twice my age. Even quite handsome. I might even tell you, if you are interested.”

“No hard feelings, but I’m here with my girlfriend,” you reply polite but strict, “and right now I don’t plan to cheat on her.”

“A shame,” the girl mumbles a little disappointed, “why can’t my ex be more like you. Then maybe he wouldn’t be my ex. Whatever, your food will be ready in a few moments. Please wait here!”

It only takes a few minutes until you can leave the restaurant with a large paper back. It feels quite warm because of the hot food inside. However, when you come back to the car, Jenny in not there. You assume she still pays for the gas, but after everything that happened lately, you can’t help but worry a little.

You look around but can’t see Sammy or Alric either. You wonder where they hide. Since you can’t do anything else, you decide to look around for them. Next to the parking lot is an area with some trees and bushes. Maybe the fairies hide there. But when you walk over to the bushes, a woman suddenly blocks your way. She is likely between 24 and 27, has a gray jacked, jeans and a thin pink scarf around her neck. Her brown hair is curly.

“Looking for something?” the woman asks directly and with crossed arms.

“Sorry, didn’t meant to bother you,” you answer unsure and try to get past her.

But before you can walk a single meter, two strong arms grab you from behind and push you forcefully to the wall of the gas station. You gasp for air but the arms are already pressing you against the wall. The guy that holds you has the same age as the woman, short black hair, a simple black T-shirt and two large scratch scars on both of his arms. He seems not more muscular than you, but his strength is remarkable.

“I would hate to cause you any pain, boy, but you haven’t answered my question,” the woman continues and grabs your chin to **** you to look at her, “I saw you snooping around this car. Only this old and unimpressive car and no other one. Coincidence? I hardly think so. Tell me why you are interested in this car and everything you know about the girl who owns it. Otherwise I fear I can’t hold back my boyfriend from more aggressive questioning.”
